Dumb Woman

Damon’s POV

I stopped my car right at Cora's residence. Yes, I very reluctantly had to drive her home, avoiding the commotion at the party, which would lead to embarrassment. The party wasn't over yet, and I didn't expect Cora to be there either. She shouldn't have been there because what she did to Addison made me angry. How could she still assume that we were lovers?

"You see if Addison is already with Mr. Clarke. Why are you defending her again?" Cora is back to babbling again.

Throughout the trip, she always talked insultingly about Addison, and I didn't respond. She doesn't have to do that anyway since we're already separated. Even though she doesn't accept my decision and I don't care. I was so sick of hearing her voice. At first, I didn't want to drive her home and opted to just order a taxi for her, but all she did was throw a tantrum, and I was worried it would be embarrassing.
