Giddy

ATHENA'S POV.

I closed my eyes once more, the moment I opened them.

The light was too bright in contrast to the darkness I'd always seen nearly all my life.

I blinked a few times, and opened it again, slowly.

When I saw their feet, I knew immediately that something was wrong, but that didn't stop me from looking up at them.

Everywhere was blurry.

Their faces were blurred, but still I gasped. I could see. All around me was white, and I couldn't really make out things, but I could see!

My eyes watered, and I began to stare at everything. From my shirt to my hands, then to the bed, to the ground, back to Tristan and the doctor's faces, which were still blurred.

I stared at literally everything in the hospital ward, unable to believe I was really seeing.

A little gasp escaped my lips, and I placed my hands over them.

My eyes were watering. Who knew I would be able to see again? I had totally given up on sight after the Daniel issue.

I got so emotional, and began to cry.
