Hailey's pov;

In the morning,

My phone starts vibrating, waking me from my sleep. I scanned the room after switching it off. Alex slept soundly alongside me, nestled under the cover. How adorable! I smacked my face and jumped out of bed to get ready for work. I noticed Alex still sleeping when I came out of the shower. Wasn't he a morning person? Is it due to the wine? I smiled at him and continued to get dressed up.

When Alex tried to sleep again after dozing off the alarm on his phone, I smiled to myself. In a few minutes, he sat up upright and inquired, "What time is it?"

"9 o'clock." As I combed my hair, I said.

"What!?" "Why didn't you wake me up?" After grabbing a towel, he jumped out of bed and dashed into the bathroom.

'What's the hurry about? Is he under the impression that it's a weekday?'

"It's Saturday," I remarked as I finished combing my hair. "You don't have to rush." "And, I have to work at a cafe today, so I'll get going first." And tried to leave the room.
