Alex's pov;

As I opened my eyes, I turned off my phone's alarm and found Hailey blissfully sleeping beside me. As I gazed at her, I grinned. She is stunning as usual. It's as though we're living together. I got out my phone and took a photo of Hailey sleeping cutely. I checked the time and it's ten past ten o'clock. I don't want to disturb her sleep, but I also want to spend the entire day with her so I gently poked her cheeks and whispered her name. "Wake up, Hailey. It's time. We have to go out." "Hailey… wake up…"

She turned in the bed and mumbled, "Granny, please let me sleep for a while."

Granny? Is she mistaking me for her grandmother? I chuckled at her words.

I said into her ears, "Hailey, wake up."

She sat up straight, glanced around the room as if for the first time, and then at me. Her eyes went wide open and buried herself under the blanket.
