It had been a week since Gabby and Eric left.

I still lived at Eric's apartment though I did not know why. I basically spent most of my awake hours with Rory and our daughter.

I wanted to ask her if I could move into Gabby's room. But I did not want to push her this time. I mean, yes, I did want to push her, woo her, make her mine again. But I did not want to do any of this without her consent.

And full consent at that.

I had come to the realization that because Rory loved me, I always ended up confusing her. I confused her and played her feelings into getting what I wanted from her.

It was what I had been doing. I was not proud of it but I had realized that the first step to redemption and fixing all that went wrong because of me was to admit to my wrongdoings and manipulations.

So yeah, we were not going to do any of that this time.

I will woo her but like how any man would woo his woman. I was not going to use our past relationship or our daughter to
