SAMANTHA'S POV

"I kissed you, Samantha," he replied, his voice husky, as he stared deep into my eyes, his gaze sending shivers down my spine. "Because sometimes actions speak louder than words."

I stood there, caught between the rush of emotions. "Move away from me," I said, pushing him aside, but he wouldn't budge.

He gently tugged at my hair, "No I'm not going to move aside,one more word from you and the kiss would be the least you'd experience today,"

I scoffed, "What the hell did you just say?"

He corked the corner of his lips in smile, "I didn't stutter, you heard me clearly Ms. Hail,"

I rolled my eyes– he just wouldn't listen, "It's Hall, not Hail… Lucas can you just put an end to all of this? It makes me sick,"

He pushed his head towards me, our nose almost touching, "Or you mean it gives you butterflies? Don't act like you didn't enjoy the kiss… don't try to undermine my kissing prowess," He said, sarcasm etched in his tone.
