DAHLIA :
I swallowed watching the Duke turning into a monstrous being growing in strength. What happened? What did I do? I was just protecting myself. Should I escape? They would probably think I tried to murder the Duke and kill me. I didn’t want to die. Oh! Please God! I didn’t want to waste my life on something trivial. But what happened to him? My body froze in its place and my eyes watched the Duke letting his sword fall to the ground and clasping his head between his arm twisting and screaming. It was as if he was trying to control something in him. My legs trembled under me as I tried to flee. I wanted to get out of here. I didn’t know what happened but I wasn’t ready to give up my life.

NELDRISDYD: I set her free because of Lady Markbill’s request. It wasn’t because I liked it. I didn’t want to ruin my relationship with her; Lady Markbill could be scary when she wanted. I saw how she previously beat a high ranked criminal, which had a bounty of gold coins. And I wouldn’t risk it. To what extend could we fix broken things? Sometimes, it was better to give up on them and move on. I allowed her to go because she wasn’t part of the world I invaded of my own free will. She was like a lamb in the middle of a horde of wolves. I didn’t why we used wolves as description for villains; I did it unconsciously. Wolves were the noblest animals with furs; they knew the meaning of family and tribe. You would never find a wolf outside of its group. They did everything together. The world I belonged in had unique villains that made their goals reason with the truth, they had all reasons you could agree with them if you didn’t know better.
