Chapter 14: Samara is Missing

SAMARA dashed down the stairs to the ground floor. She was panting as she reached the mansion's main door. She brushed her hair with her fingers, calmed herself, and adjusted the strap of her body bag on her shoulder before heading to the garage.

She was stunned when she saw her Master Jasson leaning on the driver’s seat door while playing with his keys with his fingers.

Jasson turned his gaze toward her the moment he noticed her. “You don't need to hurry, baby.”

“You'll be late if I don’t hurry, Master. The road to university and Luther's Empire were opposite. You have to take a U-turn to get to your place. So, if I slow down, you will be late,” Samara explained.

Jasson turned to the shotgun seat and opened the door for Samara. “Maybe you forget who I am?” he said after he got in the driver’s seat.
