Still Loriann's POV

I could slap myself on the head.

After seeing Alpha Tristan screwing Elissa, I could have come up with the idea of finding his DNA to test as well. How stupid of me! I am on the verge of tears of disappointment.

Romero grabs my hand and squeezes it reassuringly.

"At least we have confirmation that Alvarez is not the boy's father. Elissa will have to keep looking for the biological father. She doesn't even seem to know who she's sharing the bed with," the man mumbles.

But his words do not comfort me. Of course, I am happy for Alvarez and Meg.

But it feels so half-hearted, I've done a pretty bad job here. Now I have to come back and finish it, I can't leave it like this.
