That evening, due to Zion's intervention, Jennifer didn't go to confront Maxwell or Rachel.

After finishing work the next day, she didn't return home, but instead went back to the house she shared with Maxwell.

Martha jumped for joy when she saw Jennifer finally returning. But at the same time, a hint of worry gnawed at her.

Jennifer asked, "Where's Maxwell? Is he coming back today?"
