“Don't you wanna go out and do something fun?" Xavier caressed her cheek.

Jade lost interest in the entire world.

“No" She shook her head and wrapped herself up with the duvet in her bed.

Xavier took it off.

“C’mon, you haven't stepped out in weeks" He lifted her into his arms.

“I'm fine, really"

“Why don't you dress up and go to the mall?" He placed her on the floor and removed a golden card. “Buy whatever you want. Raquel won't go with you. You can't take Maria if you want…”

" Fine” Jade collected the card and walked to her closet.

She didn't want any drama by saying no to him so why not just give into his every demand to avoid trouble?

If this is how he wants her to live, so be it.

She was still very much traumatized even after a month of losing her child.

Although Dr. Vince told her she lost her child in a miscarriage, she still couldn't help but blame Xavier because she knew even if the child survived, Xavier would still kill it.

So she has to blame him for killing her child.
