Chapter 27

Jade stuffed a spoonful of ice cream into her mouth with a moan and laid back into the bed.

Lately, her cravings got the best of her. She didn't know where they were coming from but they just kept coming and she has consumed a great amount of calories which should be alarming because she's one who always looked out for her shape.

Maria hurried into the room when Jade was stuffing her face with chocolate waffers.

“Ma’am, he just arrived" Maria informed.

Jade quickly jumped out of the bed. “If he ask, tell him I went to the garden" She quickly instructed and ran to the bathroom.

Maria walked out.

“No, he will easily find me here" Jade hissed and looked around the room.

Where will she hide? She can't hide in his study either!

Jade quickly dashed to the balcony.

If she stayed still, he will come in, freshen up and leave for another goddamn work so he won't see her.

Jade quietly hid on the balcony behind the cold glass doors and soon, the doors opened. She heard his soft but firm
