The Alpha King could feel something ticking in his head.

That feeling started when Zaramanni dropped a statement that shattered his soul in the worst way.

He was still trying to grasp the reality of her statement when Beta Fam decided to act all commando for whatever reason.

And as if that was not enough, his wolf came alive and became frenzied because of their proximity to Zaramanni who was wearing a scent that they could not ignore.

At that moment, the silence that befell the room after he shut Beta Fam up was still existent. But a few seconds later, screeching noise came from his chair which he briskly pushed away as he stood up.

Hands planted on the table, back arched while he tried to keep a sane mind, Alpha Darren wondered for a minute if he would be able to survive being that close to Zaramanni.
