Chapter 15
I lay in my bed waiting for something magical to happen to me. My eyes are closed as I try to focus on my inner energy, but I just can't feel it. It's there but it's not as strong as it used to be.
The harsh sunlight shines brightly through my open room window. I open my eyes to catch a glimpse of the rising sun, but the blinding light causes me to shield my eyes and lay back down again.
I feel the sun bearing down on me. I feel it to the point where it starts to burn and I can't stand it anymore. I stand from my bed and walk to my windows, shutting it and drawing the curtains to stop the sunlight from pouring into my room.
I've been waiting nine days for this day. I feel incomplete like a piece of me just up and vanished. A piece that made me. What was I without my magic. I was human.

I chase after her in confusion "Klara," I shout but she doesn't stop she just keeps running up the steps. I stumble trying to run up the steps all kinds of thoughts popping into my head of what that memory could have meant.She goes into her room and stands on her bed. Ri drives the car down a narrow road that is surrounded by forestry. Soon a gate comes into view and as the car gets closer to it I notice an intricate sword pattern on the gate.Ri rolls down the window and presses a button on the intercom box. I can't feel Orion's energy so that means he hasn't appeared yet. I rush to the end of the bridge. The bridge is guarded by two sentries on either side. The sentry is a being that is cloaked from head to toe and there were often rumors that they were not human, but were created by the goddess of the night herself.I always looked at them from afar. It's been two days since I've seen Ri. He hasn't made the jump for the last two nights and I can't stop thinking about him. The way his eyes turned cold and his jaw clenched when I told him I didn't need him around all the time. I have this constant urge to find him.
