Chapter 18
Ri drives the car down a narrow road that is surrounded by forestry. Soon a gate comes into view and as the car gets closer to it I notice an intricate sword pattern on the gate.
Ri rolls down the window and presses a button on the intercom box. "James open up," he says.
"With pleasure Mr. Evrad," the man named James says, and the gates part in the center of the sword design.
He drives in along the gravel pathway up to a mansion. The house is built with yellow bricks and is designed like a castle.
"This place is beautiful," I gawk looking out my window. Ri turns off the car's ignition and opens the car doors with a push of a button.

It's been two days since I've seen Ri. He hasn't made the jump for the last two nights and I can't stop thinking about him. The way his eyes turned cold and his jaw clenched when I told him I didn't need him around all the time. I have this constant urge to find him. Going into battle with Rizor took its toll on me. When I saw my mother walk up the steps it proved all my efforts to be worth it. I could only describe that moment as a dream. A figment of my imagination showing me my deepest wants.It seems like a happy ending, but something doesn't sit right with me. I'm happy, too happy and I know there's a storm coming. I can feel it in my bones. As I stand in front of my full body mirror and look at the dress Morgan and I got from the mall yesterday. I don't feel like how I used to before.
