chapter 19: A friend

Alexa's POV

I took a step back warily, knowing my words probably provoked him.

" Hi, we don't want any trouble, just give me my friend and get someone else in there. There are lots of idiots you would like in there" I said.

" What makes you think I would just let go of her?" He said, his voice sounded human enough, except for the slight snarl that seemed to escape his mouth with every word he said.

" Because I think you are a good vampire..." I said.

I was grappling for words now. He was coming closer slowly, and I was running out of places to back into.

" You know of my kind human. Interesting. for your sake, I would make both your death and hers very quick, you would barely feel it" he said, the smile still on his lips.

" We would both prefer to be alive" I said, I was against a wall now, my hands beginning to sweat as he advanced.

" It would be quick" he said and with that, he pinned me against the wall, sinking his fangs into my neck.
