It was almost midnight when Philip got back to their house. She had to finish all the papers that he left, causing him to not notice the time.As he opened the door, all the lights were off and everybody seemed to be asleep already. Jessica woke up because of the pain she felt on her back. She got it because of the position she was in last night. Oh yeah, she forgot that she had fallen asleep on the couch. And she also remembered all that happened last night. Four days had passed and the lad still didn't come home. And Jessica was clueless as to where could her husband be. She wonders if he's okay, if he's eating right, and if he misses her as much as she misses him.The brunette would always wait for Philip on the couch and sometimes she would fall asleep there. It was uncomfortable and when she wakes up, her back always felt sore. Even if she lacks sleep, she would still wait for Philip, thinking that maybe he'll be back anytime that day. The doorbell rang repeatedly and Jessica quickly went to the front door to open it. Everybody was still asleep since it’s just eight in the morning and she didn't want them waking up just yet, especially the lad so even if she's emotionally tired, she got up and opened the door.She was met by a bouquet of roses and a paper bag with a familiar food chain logo on it. "Elijah? Jessica woke up to the sound of the door creaking open. She rubbed her eyes to try and adjust to the light and when she does, she saw her husband carrying a tray of food while a huge smile was plastered on his face. "Hey, good morning," The lad greeted her as he placed the tray on the bedside table. "I cooked breakfast for you. You should eat." He said and helped Jessica sit up and lean her back on the headboard. "Have you eaten yet?" The brunette asked as Philip started to cool down the spoonful of soup.

"He's here, Sir," Elijah said as soon as the lad entered his office. He placed all his stuff on his desk and gave the curly-haired boy a nod, signaling him to let the guest enter. A slightly tall British man entered the room along with her two bodyguards. "Finally! I thought you'd never come." Colin said as he rose from his seat to meet the lad halfway. He had called him earlier today since he has something important to tell his friend. He thought that he ditched him since he was waiting for him for more than an hour and a half. "What's so important about what you're going to tell me that you have to make me leave home and meet you here? The married couple drove silently to the road, on their way to an exclusive house to attend a party. Jessica had been telling the lad about it a couple of times this week now and tonight was the night she was talking about. Philip didn't want to go obviously, but because of the brunette's puppy eyes and kisses, she finally convinced him to come. Jessica looked at her husband, who was focused on the road to even notice her staring at him. She didn't know why he was quiet but he didn't seem to be pissed or upset like usual. They haven't been fighting lately as well so her silence really worried the lad.
