The bright sun was hidden behind silvery clouds. Land of Islamabad was about to be blessed with rain in some time in the noon, apparently. The roads were busy. People were going about their businesses and among the mass there was Minahil, walking on foot towards her college.  After the incident with Waniya she wasn't allowed to take her car by her father. He told her that he would drop and pick her from college but she refused. Arya also offered to drive her but she didn't accept. She rejected transportation offer of Yara and everyone else also. Sometimes she'd take Uber or taxi and sometimes walk by foot.  She reached the college grounds after walk of an hour. She hurriedly got up to support him but he pushed her back. "I don't need anyone-" he said, stammering, in an angry voice. His breath smelled like alcohol. "You drank?" She was shocked at this discovery. She had stepped back when he had pushed her but when she realized he was drunk she couldn't help but worry for him. "That's not your fucking business," he yelled, while trying to support his own body, not being able to, he fell down on the ground and groaned loudly. Minahil was u

12. Prejudice (II)
"And why is that?" "Because he is a drug addict," she said with an air of pride. She didn't want to talk about Abraham that way but his father was infuriating her with each passing second. "And you leave your boyfriend, whom you had claimed to love, just because he fell for drugs," his voice was poisonous to her ears. "And you left your kids far away letting them drown in self pity and misery to end up in drugs. Tch," she hadn't learned to lose yet whether it was to Abraham's father. And she couldn't believe she had told Abraham that his father was nice. Before Aban Chaudhary could retort back they were interrupted by a beautiful woman entering the room. She looked a lot like Abraham with green eyes. Liam didn't even matched her in appearance. She concluded Liam was not Mr. And Mrs. Chaudhary's son. "Hello!" The woman greeted with a subtle smile.

13. Infidelity
"I will not shut up unless you tell me why are you so cruel towards Liam?" At her statement Aban turned his head sharply towards her, his eyes glaring daggers at her. "And what will you do? For Liam?" He inquired tauntingly. "I would help him," she replied making him scoff. "Help him how? Help him wear his clothes, help him eat? He has servants to help him 24/7." "A human needs more than that to survive. Clothes and best foods of the world can't heal wounds of souls. Love does, care does." "I never pegged you for the love type," he commented as if he were surprised by Minahil talking about love. "So you thought I was with your son because of?" She let her sentence hang in the air. "I thought you were with my son because  of-" he paused, a smirk plastered on his smug face, "his looks and his money." Min

The window of the room was open and curtains were flying back and forth creating a strange sound in the quietness of the room.  "I was making Dua ---" the voice note started playing once again when Yara angrily threw her phone away and the voice stopped.  She was laying on the bed with her head hanging down.
