THE following day is the first day of Daniel's duty at the library as a student assistant. Many were delighted, most were women, as well as their librarian Shiela was unable to escape the venom of the young man's charisma. Jason, as Daniel's friend, is very as well. She expected that already, but anyone would be asked about what she feels, she is not happy. Maybe she lied in that part. But even though she admitted that she was fascinated by Daniel's good looks, she still couldn't stop feeling annoyed for him because of his excessive strength to tease. And Daniel's type of teasing is not just simple. It is mixed with mischief that can make her heart beat faster. "WHAT did you say earlier that we live in the same village?" after a long silence that was what Daniel heard Ara ask. Daniel was unable to help but smile. Despite the obvious annoyance that Ara feels for her, the tone of her voice is still very sweet to him. "As I have said, long story," he replied as the beautiful smile on his lips seemed to be permanent. Ara released a burst of dry laughter. "You can explain it to me now, we still have a long time to travel, maybe by that time you will have finished explaining," Ara insisted. Daniel felt in the tone of Ara's voice that she was curious and she really wanted to know the truth so thoroughly he decided to give her what he asked for. "So, you bought Mrs. Gonzales' house?" she told him. "It's been for sale for a long time, we thought it could not be sold," was Ara's only comment. 

DANIEL was on the veranda at that time and was busy playing the guitar when he felt the presence of someone standing behind him. "Do you need anything?" he asked Danica who sat on the vacant chair opposite to the one he occupied. His sister just shrugged before she opened her mouth to speak. "Looks like you are the one who needs it, what did I hear from Salyn that you have a woman in your car when you go home?" he heard in Danica's tone was a mixture of excitement and curiosity. "What?" He heard Danica clicks her tongue. "Come on Daniel, you have to admit, who is that and it looks like you have a love life already even though the semester has just started?" his sister continued asking him. That was when Daniel laughed and laid his guitar on the center table and then spoke. "That was Ara, she is also from here in our village," he replied. 

THAT evening just like what Daniel wanted to happen he gave her a ride home once again. Jenny doesn't know about that because she was unable to tell her. "Thank you," Ara told Daniel when the young man stopped his car in front of their house. Daniel just nodded while smiling. "It's okay, it's better like this, I have the assurance that you go home safely," the young man replied. Ara secretly felt the romantic excitement inside her heart at what she heard. “By the way, Let's do this again tomorrow okay?” It was in his tone that he is actually asking for her permission, but deep inside Ara knew that she does not have the capacity to refuse. “O-Okay,” the young lady then replied in a shaking voice. *****  AFTER washing the dishes,
