When I first saw her walk into the backyard, I couldn’t help but admire her. Fuck she’s gorgeous. Her current outfit leaves little to the imagination. I can see all the tattoos on her legs that were hidden from view before as well as some peeking out from the bottom of her shirt. I had very conflicting desires to take more of her clothes off and to cover her up. I want to see more, but I don’t want anybody else looking at her. *Monroe's POV*Once we make it to my place, I help them both take off their makeup and change into pajamas and get them into bed, leaving water and painkillers on each of their night stands. When I crawl into bed, my head is still buzzing a little from the alcohol and I can’t stop thinking about the way my body felt when Cade kissed me. Never before has a kiss had that kind of effect on me. I think about how good his body felt against mine and I fall asleep dreaming about him.When I wake up the next morning I see that it’s almost 8:30 and I thank myself for turning off my alarm last night. Stretching and yawning, I extract myself from the covers and hear the dogs groan as they spread out. I make my way into the kitchen to start up the coffee maker. If I’m in need of caffeine, Maddy and Charlie definitely will be when they wake up.

*Monroe's POV*I unfortunately don’t get to watch the sunrise while I run this morning because of the thick grey clouds that conceal it. It’s definitely going to rain at some point which means I won’t be taking my bike today. After my shower I decide that since I can’t take my bike, I might as well take the opportunity to wear a skirt. I throw on a black high- waisted mini skirt with pleats and a grey cropped sweater. I put my hair into a high pony, since I don’t have to worry about it fitting under my helmet. *Monroe's POV*Calculus goes by quickly, and I’m one of the first to make it to philosophy. As I watch the people file in I realize I’m instinctively looking for Cade. When I see him walk in just as the bell rings, I give him a tentative smile which he returns and takes his seat. “Alright class, so this week we will be starting a project on various philosophers throughout history. This project will be done in pairs,” at this everyone starts murmuring excitedly. “Quiet down please!” The murmuring stops. “You will have to submit a written study as well as give a 20 minute presentation to the class. You will have the whole week to work on it, and presentations start next Monday. Once you have chosen a partner, send one representative to come see me and I will assign you a philosopher.”

When I pull up to Maddy’s house and find a two storey white-brick house complete with front porch, manicured garden and an actual white picket fence, I can’t say I’m all that surprised. It has nothing to do with Maddy, it’s just what pretty much every single house around here looks like. I park long the curb, assuming that at some point her parents will be needing the driveway. I run to the porch and Maddy unlocks the door.
