A pained groan leaves his lips as he sits up. He looks around finding himself in the middle of the forest, near the border of the pack. Confusion fills his mind when he couldn't remember how he ended up here of all places.  He finds a few of his warriors a few distance away from him, the ones who were in charge of night patrol unconscious or just waking up and looking around them cluelessly. Clearly confused how they ended up almost at the edge of the forest.  He could feel his wolf, trying to communicate with him.  "What is it?" Adryan questions.  "Mate" Vince whimpers in his mind.  

    The leaves scrunch under her bare feet as she walks forward. She had no idea about where she was. She could tell that it was night time, by how the owl hooted in the distance and the cool air whipped around and nipped occasionally at her skin causing shivers to run down her form.     The scent of death lingered around in the air along with the hint of something that had been recently burned. She could see the aftermaths of it too. The ground beneath her was burned, the grass was dark as coal and charred.     She felt weird, something wasn't right.     Finally after a fifteen minute walk Jade stands outside the 'La Douceur'. This was the bakery Scarlett owned in the heart of Winston. People here loved the baked goods the bakery had to offer hence the hustle and bustle infront of Jade, she watched as people sat in the booths, chit chatting, and smiling. This was the one of the few bakeries in town, so it was obviously famous among the locals.     Winston was a small town slash village kind of community. A tight-knit community of people. Tall trees and thick rain forest areas were common here, this place oozed calmness and brings peace to ones soul. People here were friendly and hospitable.     She can't count the amount of people who had offered her help during her pregnancy. She was almost at the verge of crying, which might've made some people look at her

   Tightening the hold on the baseball bat, she swings the door open.  Just as she swings open the door, her emerald green eyes meet a pair of ocean blue eyes. It felt like time stopped, as she stared at the stranger, she could feel her wolf stirring within her. She could also feel the mate bond, which had been dormant for three long years crackling again.  Her heart beat sky rockets as she stares at the man who was her supposed mate.
