Celine can't believe that she needs to stay in one room with Drake. Sure, there are other rooms in this no-star hotel. The problem is, the owner wants to have as many rooms available for other guests.  He's expecting that there will be a lot of people who need a room for the upcoming festival. That made them end up in a room with one queen-sized bed. "We should be fine around here for now. When Chad was able to create a new wormhole, we should be out of here right away!" Drake assured her. "I just can't get it why the owner doesn't want to get paid for more rooms!" Celine complained. "It's the only hotel near the last wormhole. Stop complaining. "Tomorrow will still be our past…" It's a good saying for time travelers who are now stuck in the past. They are twenty-one years behind from the present. The year 2000 is the start of a new Millenium. But the new year celebration for this year is already in the past. Celine learned that Drake is scared to be alone at night in a room. It all began when he was just ten years old. That means that it happened during this year when they are. He told her that he was able to witness the murder of his parents. The culprit hid inside his room. From then on, he can't sleep alone in a room. He spent his childhood after that incident in an orphanage. At least there, he doesn't have to sleep alone. But when he's older, he normally sleeps inside the lab. Since he's a child prodigy, he already has access to the lab of his mentor. That's why he got obsessed with traveling in time. He wants to prevent it from happening. But not right now since the time travel device is not perfect yet. If he did something to change the past, that might have a different effect on the future. But he plans to go back once the device

"Why did you break into our facility?" A tall, strong-looking man asked. After an epic failed attempt to get into the time machine, Chad ends up getting caught by the ceiling fan. It's a very unsightly situation, not to mention, uncomfortable.  Now, he's inside the Time Travel Agency for questioning. He needs to find a way to get out of this office. It looks more like a steel box since it only can handle a four-seater table and chairs. "I didn't mean to break in. My rollerblades took the wrong turn." Chad replied. The senior officer already looks irritated with him. He should be at home with his wife and kids by now. But this chubby guy caused a stir inside their agency. 

Celine was right! Their personalities seem to switch. Drake is acting more like her and vice versa. But since she seems to switch with Drake's cold and secretive personality, she doesn't want to share it with him.  It might be the effect of staying in a different timeline longer than it should be. But they can't do anything about it since their devices are both dead. They need to charge it very soon or who knows what will happen to them next.
