Chapter 11: Jily
"Rachel," Jilly called out the name on the list she held in her hand. It was listed on the paper clipped to the writing board. "Presence." Jilly looked up at the voice and smirked. "You're hard to get rid of, huh?" She asked the girl. Her case was not that different from Jilly's. Marcus found her and brought her in. The difference is, she's more like Katherine than Jilly. So, it's either she dead or dedicated her life to the mafia world which she soon to be discovered if she passed through all the training. "Here to stay. Well, there's only the three of us now." Rachel, a blonde girl with fierce eyes pointed to themselves. "You're right. If the three of you passed until the very end, you have a bright future ahead of you." Jilly said. Indeed, from the seven names on the list, there are only three girls remained in the house. "We know because we're looking at one," Sara said while

Chapter 12: Leira
"Jilly!" She was awoken from her daydream by his voice. She turned her head to find Marco stood next to her. She raised her eyebrow at him in question. "Yes?" "Mom is preparing lunch. We should go." He said. He was confused to found her daydreaming like that. "What about the kids?" As she asked, her head turned towards where the three girls were supposed to be. She frowned when she saw no one was there. "I sent them away," Marco replied. "Can we go now?" Instead of going as he asked, Jilly suddenly wrapped her arms around him. She rested her head on his chest. "What's wrong?" He asked softly and rubbed her back softly. He could see that she needed some comfort, so he was providing her one. "Why did they look up to me like I'm some kind of hero?" She asked in confusion. That was the first time she ever heard people saying things like that

Chapter 13: Loser
Marcus and Jilly walked to his study. Jilly knew not to get excited because it was not going to be about work that she loved so much. Somehow, Jilly felt like trouble from home have arrived. "What is it?" Jilly asked as they were in his study. Marcus walked up to the mahogany desk and grabbed something off the desk. Jilly saw papers and printed pictures on them. She could see through the papers. "Come take a look," Marcus said, gesturing for her to come closer. Then, he handed her the papers. Jilly took them but didn't look at them right away. She looked at Marcus for a few more seconds before she took a look at the pictures. She knew it, the trouble at home had arrived. "You could have at least printed a better picture. You know, in a glossy paper so the pictures turned out good." She said as she put them down on the desk. She had no intention of keeping them or looking at them for long. "Is it him? I caught him today around the premises. Loo

Chapter 14: Wish
Jilly walked into the nightclub where she knew he was waiting. It would always be her who came to him without had to be called directly. "You think you can walk freely in this country and this specific town without noticed?" Jilly's voice brought him to turned his head to the side. She leaned on the table before the chair while looking at him. "Come sit down." Cayne patted the chair beside him, ignoring her previous question. "Do you think you can order me around?" Jilly stared at him hard. "No." He replied honestly. "But, I just hope that you will sit down and have a few drinks with me." He uttered his wish. He was sitting on a piece of thin ice himself, but he acted it naturally. She was fuming while looking at him. But then, she realized something. A smirk made an appearance on her lips. He was waiting for his pending doom. "Come on." Again, he patted the

Chapter 15: Unladylike
Jilly sat on the couch in Marcus' office, waiting for the man to come. She finally got a job to do, but she was not happy about it. So unusual of her and they would notice it right away. Not long after she just slugging on the couch, the door opened. "Really? So unladylike of you, Jilly." Marcus commented, seeing how she sat on his couch. She sat looking like a boss when no one was around. "No, Marcus. I love you." Jilly said while smiling and straightened her posture up. "Where's Marco?" She asked as she didn't see him followed his father into the room. "He's in the warehouse. So, let's go." Marcus told her, gestured her out of the room, and follow him. The both of them walked side by side to the warehouse. Jilly hadn't seen Mariah around the house. Where could she be? If she was going out, Jilly would like to come along. "Where is Mama Ria?" Jilly asked her

Chapter 16: Kiss
They laid on the couch as they drifted to sleep. But, Jilly had awoken and dressed while Cayne was still naked and sleeping on her arm as a pillow. He slept like a baby, cuddled to her as it was a comfort spot for him. “Wake up, Isa.” Jilly tried to wake him up as her fingers played with his hair. She had been thinking and finally found something that might work. It was not guaranteed, but it would be worth the try. “Hmm…” He was slowly woken up as he felt her hands playing with his hair. It felt nice and too nice for him to end it, but he should or she would get mad. He just knew it. So, he opened his eyes and searched for her eyes. It was calming for this moment. He had no worries then, even though death was right in front of his eyes. “I’m going to cook something for you to fill in your stomach before you leave.”

Chapter 17: Plan
Jilly had been preparing as Marcus told her today was the day. It finally came and Jilly couldn’t back out of this, but she had a clear mind now. Everything was on her head in the right direction. She would be going by herself as per usual, she worked alone. “Are you sure you don’t need our help?” Fran offered as he was worried about this specific job Jilly was about to execute. Because it involved someone she once loved. “Yes, Fran. Don’t worry, just make sure your part is going well as we planned.” Jilly said as she adjusted her clothes. She just tucked a gun onto her waistband. Their plan as they discussed was to put him in jail and the original one, the Marcus plan was to kill Cayne on the spot. With these plans she had, she made sure that one of them was going to work. “I’ll send them in before Don come in,” Fran said the plan they had behind the don’

Chapter 18: Bullet
Jilly arrived at their meeting point. Cayne was already there, waiting for his angel of death. He was facing another way when she arrived and didn’t notice her at first, but he could hear her heels stepping on the cement ground. Her particular sound of heels was something that stuck in his head.   “It’s not about the money, is it?” He spoke, still looking away.   “There is no payment made in here.” Jilly replied, confirming his guess. She didn’t even bring anything but herself and the gun hiding underneath her top.   Slowly, he turned around and faced her. He doesn’t look good and was quite pale than the last time she saw him. He nodded his head to her in a way of telling her that whatever her decision was, he was ready.   “You shouldn’t have step up, Isaiah. You don’t know this field. I told you didn’t I?” Jilly asked him to try and remember what she said years ago. She had warned him from long ago.

Chapter 19: Selfish
Marcus let out a sighed harshly as he saw what was happening in front of him. He was right when he felt something was off about her just before she left. He couldn’t approach her as she was surrounded by a DEA. If he came out, he would as well surrendered himself to them. “Don’t tell your mother just yet.” Marcus told his son as his eyes kept looking at the scene. “You wanted to hide this from mother?” Marco’s voice raised at his father. Ha hated to be in this situation because he couldn’t help her. “Then, why would you send her to do this?” He asked in a loud voice. Marcus quickly turned around and glared at him. “Be quiet.” He sternly said to his son. He saw Marco already crying because he knew that Marco felt helpless, so does he. “Let’s leave, we couldn’t get caught.” Marcus grabbed his arm, but Marcus pushed his hand away

Chapter 20: Coma
Kook took the first flight to Italy as soon as he hung up the phone with Mark, one of Marcus’ trusted men. He didn’t even bother to tell their parents of what happened to Jilly. He was too worried about her and did what came to his mind first. He came to the hospital Mark told him about. He informed Kook that there won’t be anybody waiting, because the DEA was on their tail. He realized then, that was the reason why they called him. “Who are you?” Kook asked the woman who stood not far from his sister’s room. He never saw the woman before, was she someone Jilly knew? “Who are you?” she asked back arrogantly. She was there first, so she was a little bit entitled to that. “I’m her brother,” Kook replied with a raised eyebrow. “Brother?” At first, she was confused. But, she recovered fast as she remembered
