I said, "King Uther, as much I love that idea, we really don't have time for it now. If it gets really bad, I will levitate myself." He said, "You're right. We don't have time. Let's get going." He opened a hatch door, and there was a huge flat spot on the roof. I said, "This is perfect! Thank you!" Conri said, "Trina and I will stay up here, to fight alongside you and to protect you." They put me in my chair, and I immediately started noticing them coming through the woods. I started sending lightning bolts into trees, making them explode, sending shards into the hearts of the hybrids and the eyes of the wolves. I've just finished training with Conri. It has been a week since the war with Abel and his minions, and I have taken a lot of great steps since then. I got the okay to eat solid food again four days ago. We celebrated with lasagna and garlic bread. I'm looking forward to our steak dinner tonight (I had to work up to that). All week, Conri and I have been working every night experimenting with positions, and every morning sparring and coming up with new fighting techniques. I've been trying to incorporate magic where I can too. That pisses Conri off a little, because he can't defend himself against it. I always find it funny. I have also started my physical therapy three days a week. Conri absolutely refuses to leave me during it, because the therapist is a male and he has to touch me to do the stretches.
