Chapter 30
 * "My Prince?!?" I blurted out as more of a question than a statement. "All in due time my dear." Robert said with a smile as he clapped his hands twice. The door shot open with both ladies and men walking in with different types of foods and wine. It was like we were a buffet rather than just eating out as the two of us.  They placed all the food on the table, bowed and left all in a uniform and single line. "What's going on?" I asked immediately they all left the room, Robert looked at me and acted like I had said nothing. "Robert! I am talking to you, I need an answer." He dropped his fork and knife with a sigh, he looked at me again and with a forced smile. "Can we eat first, I'm really hungry and I would appreciate it if you eat too, please. I'll explain everything AFTER we eat." He said emphasiesing on the "after"

Chapter 31
* Even after I got home, I still wasn't at rest. I got home really late that night, thankfully I had my keys if not I would have to climb in through the window. "...You Jessica are that lost princess of Sorania, next in line to the throne, my half sister and also the guardian of the book." Those words kept replaying in my head as much as I didn't want them to, I mean, this was the only family I knew, they couldn't have just picked me up. Right?!? I twisted and turned all night, I was so tired that every hour I would check the clock to see if it was morning yet. By 6am I got around to finishing a book I started months ago, at least it took my mind off things for a second. "Kids, it's time for school!" I heard mom call

Chapter 32
  *   I ended up bribing Tyler to stay quiet about Ethan, not that it was a big deal, I just didn't want my parents to think there's anything going on between us and skipping school for me.   My parent are suckers for a good teen romance story, I can't count how many times they binged watched Teen wolf and Twilight.   Anyways, a week later my friend came over like we usually do each week and I got to review all their notes on the classes I missed the previous week. I eventually ended up with mostly Ace's and Jack's notes but in short we all had a great time together.   It was already 9:15 when I and AJ finished our homework and AJ fell on my bed like someone who just ran a marathon.   "It's just homework, you don't always have to be dramatic about it." I said placing the books in my backpack.   "Just homework... That thing is another form of ment

Chapter 33
 * I took the next bus home still in a dilemma, there were so much questions that I wanted the answers to. Like, what did he mean by the power of a royal, why did my mother give me up? Was it really to save me or herself? I don't understand this big reveal on my 18th birthday they were all talking about? I was filled with so many questions but because of my anger I wasn't able to get any answers from them. Now they were only two people who would be able to answer my questions. Mom and Dad. I took the bus home and as usual when I got home mom and dad weren't home, I looked around and no one was home yet, not even Tyler. But I had already decided that no matter how late they were I was going to wait for them. I looked at the time, 11pm and they still weren't back home, Zack and Zoe came in early since they were at a friend's house but Tyler, Mom an

Chapter 34
*I blinked my eyes open feeling tired as I dragged myself off the ground."How did I end up here?" I asked out loud"Did you think this was over little girl?" I looked around but couldn't pin point where the voice was coming from."Who are you and why am I here?" I asked.Out of nowhere a stage light shone down on me, I squirted my eyes immediately shielding them from the bright light."That is for me to know and for you to be patient." The voice said."I know it's you Altheda, there's no use hiding, if you want to fight come out, I'm not afraid of you anymore." I shouted."Oh, but you should, as yo

Chapter 35
 * It's been two days since I properly saw Ethan and since our last kiss. After I got home that night, I still felt like I was on cloud 9 and did the most reasonable thing a girl would do in that situation. I called my best friend. Immediately I picked the phone, I briefed her about what happened, next thing I knew the line went dead and in less than 15 minutes AJ was standing in front of my room breathing heavily. We talked for hours that night, which was fun and eventually AJ had to sleep over that night. After we talked for a while she asked me the one question that I was scared of right now. "What next?"  It was scary because I didn't have the answer to that particular question. I mean, were we a thing now? Will he want to be with me publicly? What happens if Morgan finds out?  A lot of questions that I didn't w

Chapter 36
*"Good afternoon my prince, my lady." Mr Jonathan said and we immediately stood up.Robert cleared his throat and I adjusted my cloths and hair."It's not what you think!" We said at the same time.We looked at each other for a second and then bursted into laughter."I wouldn't expect anything less from siblings who have been separated for a long time. I have no cause to judge." Mr Jonathan said nodding his head.Robert cleared his throat again before he continued. "Good. Now, Standulf you're late. Time is not on our hands, and where is Guendal?" Robert asked."She should be here shortly, I believe." Mr Jonathan answered."I am here, but you guys were having a weird brother sister love talk and I got uncomfortable, so I left to get something to eat. Did you know this world has a lot of good stuff, I crazy love the french fries and chips. Amazing stuff." Guendal said munching on a bag of chips."That th

Chapter 37
*It's been two weeks now since I fully started training and I was progressing faster than expected, well according to Jonathan the is. And it was also a week to my supposed real birthday which Jonathan and Robert have been working tirelessly towards.I had just finished training for the day and on my way home, today we finally started learning simple levitation and teleportation spells which were fun.Although I would have liked it better to learn how to teleport or transport a full human to another place or even another dimension. But this was all so fun that it was almost unreal, but it was also keeping me away from my friends and family, basically because I couldn't tell them what was going on in my life.I got home and immediately dropped on the closest couch next to me, as much as I had fun, it was a lot having to spar with Gwendal every day."Are you alright?" Zoe asked with concern hinted in her voice.

Chapter 38
*I got up from bed at about 8 am this morning feeling great, being around family really was something I needed and today was going to be more fun than any other. We had someone to do the house chores for us while we slept so we didn't have much today but to make breakfast for ourselves.I looked through the cupboards looking for flour and probably chocolate chips which I found thankfully.I made the batter for pancakes and added the chocolate chips in, everyone was going to love this for breakfast.Immediately I made the last pancake the twins came down from their rooms and sat on the island table yawning.Just then the door opened, I thought maybe the cleaner forgot something but it was Tyler with something in his hand."Good morning family." Tyler greeted."Good morning." The twins chorused."Good morning big T, look, I made chocolate pancakes for breakfast." I said excitedly."Cool."

Chapter 39
*I left the car to stand outside after the little scolding I gave to my younger siblings, but it also got me thinking. What if this was truly the last time I actually get to spend time with the both of them, I have to defeat Altheda soon and for that to happen I have to go to magic school, which also means I'll have to leave my family soon.I took a deep breath trying to clear my head when I heard a voice beside me."You seem stressed child?" The old woman said. She was smallish and hunched over carrying a basket full of roses, probably to sell them, they were beautiful though."You have seen life is short and our youth won't last forever so you must trust yourself and the people closest to you to make the right decision. Here's a pretty rose for a pretty girl." I smiled at the old lady and received the rose."Thank you, ma'am. Could I get a dozen of roses from you?" I asked politely."Oh sure my dear, here you go." She slowly packed the roses into an old newspaper and handed them ov
