After sending Sophia I got some customers. I helped them with choosing some dresses and they just left a few minutes ago so I decided to sit down and go through my novels since I haven't touched them for more than a week now.  As I was going through my novels I heard someone entering the boutique but didn't bother to look up thinking that it might be one of my customers. The room fell to an eerie silence all of a sudden as I could only hear the person's footsteps approaching closer. My fingers paused while turning the page and my heartbeat accelerated in no seconds. I gulped down my saliva as I felt a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach.  "Hello."

I yawned and turned the page as I shifted on the couch for a comfortable position. My fingers caressed the page before I actually started reading. The little one was taking shower and I was reading one of my favourite books these days. I knocked on the door..."Hey, you alright?" I asked and then shut my eyes in disbelief.  He can't speak, Aurora. I knocked on the door once again.  "Open the door." I said and af

"Hazelnut." My eyes widened when I realized who it was. Is he calling me a Hazelnut?  "What are you doing?" I asked him as I tried to twist my wrist away from his hold which I almost did but he once again caught my wrists before my elbow could hit his face.  "I see, you are getting stronger." He said and tightened his hold, even more, making me close my eyes in pain. I kept taking deep breaths to calm my nerves. "Okay, I'm not here to play around." He said and bent down to my ear level. "Where are my people who came to your boutique?" He asked and I frowned. "I don't know," I said right away and a gasp left my lips when he grabbed my collar from b

I sighed and looked outside the window. The city was drowned in silence and some of the street lights were flickering.  Night felt extremely suffocating somehow and I couldn't really figure out why.... maybe I'm not feeling well. "Haaa." My eyes widened when from the corner of my eye I saw someone under the flickering light. I fixed my gaze there and waited for the light to open so that I could see the person and when the light finally opened my eyes widened even more. There was a scar standing under the light, sharpening his knife.  I immediately hid behind the curtain and kept looking at the guy as he continued to sharpen his knife. Are they here...to attack?

What does he really mean by 'really'? "Should I go and check up there?" He asked as he titled his head to the left. I wasn't stepping back but I bent a little backward when he towered over me.  He's huge. "If he's not with you...then let me check." He said and I gulped. What should I do? I DON'T KNOW! "The boy is not with me but I won't let you go upstairs." I blurted out and quickly inhaled a sharp breath, pursing my lips in a line. I slightly gazed up at him and found him looking at me with his narrowed eyes. "Nobody asked you." He said and pushed me away by my arm...I almost fell down on my face. This.... punk... I turned around and saw him going up

"Who are you?" He asked and I frowned. "Your room fucking reeks with that smell." He said as his eyes turned red but his cough won't go away. He was struggling to breathe but he was just fine right now.  Does he have asthma too? "Do you want an inhaler?" I asked while forwarding him my inhaler. He glared at my hand and then at me before taking the inhaler from my hand and throwing it in the corner of the room. "I'm not an asthma patient." He roared at me and I just looked at him with my wide orbs. I sniffed the room once again and found nothing wrong. I do not understand what's bothering him.
