Chapter 20 -
Dingo/Davin POV To my relief she didn’t argue when I took the keys from her. She just slid into the passenger seat. I had a wonderful night. Except for that terrible waitress, she’s lucky she is human. As a scout for the Counsel only the Council members themselves and Pack Alphas have rank over me. I rarely ever need to push that but I would do anything for Danny and there was no excuse for that girl’s behavior. Had she been Werewolf, I would have her punished. I got in and fired up the truck. Danny sat sideways against me. I loved the smell of her. I wrapped my arm around her as I drove back to her trailer. I loved feeling her curves and womanly softness against me. Craving her skin, I slipped my hand just beneath her shirt and ran my thumb along her side. She shook and started giggling. It was a beautiful sound. Feminine and enticing, it vibrated to the center of my being and I loved it. Just as she snuggled back into me, I did it again. “Stop, you’re tickl

Chapter 21 -
Danny POV We rested for a bit, just indulging in the afterglow. I loved touching him and the sparks between us. I giggled to myself, he growled at me. That was so sexy, so primal. He was delicious, I loved his flavor both sweet and salty. When I was done, I just wanted to lay with him. Press my body to his, it was perfect. After a bit I looked up at him and asked, “So, what else shall we do today?” I smiled up at him, he was laying back with his eyes closed and the biggest smile across his face. I was feeling really proud of the effect my efforts had on him. “Davin?” I asked gently, he looked so blissful. “What do you want to do today?” I asked again. He came back to himself and smiled and kissed me. “I could do that all day.” He teased. Although, I thought to myself we should try that someday and snickered inwardly. I got up and started to get dressed. I slipped on a pair of pink undies and a pair of faded green cargo pants. I tried t

Danny POV I loved riding with him. I didn’t have to worry about anything, I could just lean into him and enjoy the world as it flew by.  I loved the wind in my face and hair, feeling his strong muscles beneath me as he deftly cornered around the winding roads. We decided on a picnic lunch, he said he knew the perfect spot and so far, he hasn’t been wrong. After we got some sandwiches, we pulled off the highway and down a twisting logging road. The air was much calmer here. It still had a tinge of salt from the sea but that was now overpowered by the earthy smell of damp leaves and dirt. Most of the leaves had fallen already and there were big patches of bare branches in the canopy that let beautiful rays of sunlight pour through. I caught sight of a few deer as they bounded off deeper into the woods. Fat squirrels were gathering the last of the forest foods in preparation for winter. It was the perfect afternoon. When he stopped, we were in a small clearing that

Danny POV. My dream Slowly the forest came into focus before me. Deep greens of pine trees and bushes. I was moving swiftly over the ground. Smoothly, almost like I was flying. Once my eyes could make out more, I realized I was riding on a giant brown wolf. I could hear it huff beneath me as it ran sure footed through the forest. Behind us was the howling of wolves. Wolves angry and in pain. Why are they chasing us? I thought to myself. I leaned into my wolf and clung around his neck. His fur was warm and soft and comforting. A low growl came from the mighty beast but it didn’t scare me. If anything, it comforted me. He ran on until we came to a moonlit river. The moonlight thinned until the river was no longer bright, only a foot path over the raging water remained. We heard the wolves getting closer. We carefully edged out onto the bridge of moonlight and began walking across. About halfway across people started to emerge from the trees. They weren’

Dingo/Davin POV Without driving recklessly, I went as fast as possible to get her home. I knew she would be frozen. I felt her arms around me but the entire ride home she didn’t say a word. I wished that she could mind link. My heart was aching, I felt horrible for pushing her. I didn’t want to lose her and if she was going to walk away from us then I had to know why. How to stop her. I couldn’t lose her. As soon as the bike was parked, she got up but tripped and went sprawling. I braced the bike and ran to her; she was shaking with the cold. I picked her up and helped her inside. When I finally got her back to her room, I looked her over. Her eyes were dilated, her lips and hands were a pale blue and she was shaking. She’s in shock and way too cold. “Danalee, we need to get you warm and quickly.” I said to her urgently. She was just staring forward, shaking. I looked around, ah, there. I thought I had seen a space heater around here. I plugged it in

Chapter 25 -
Danny POVI made breakfast today although we were out of bacon. Mental list, need to do laundry and get groceries I said to myself. As Davin made his way around the eggs on his plate he said, “I need to see Brad today, I promised I would stop by. Would you like to come with me?”  That is not what I was expecting, I grinned and said “Sure.” Then a terrifying thought occurred to me. I asked in a panicked tone, “You didn’t use all the hot water, did you?”He smiled and smirked back, “Nope, I only get cold showers when I’m around you. Otherwise I’ll never let you out of the bedroom.”  “Good.” I thought to myself. Serves him right for freezing me half to death and then gawking at me. I finished eating and took a quick shower. I towel dried my hair and went in search of clothing. Clean clothes were definitely in short supply. I stood pondering in front of my closet

Chapter 26 -
Dingo/Davin POVAs we stepped outside to the truck I offered to drive. I knew the way well and that she preferred to be the passenger. It would be a nice day for a ride and to be outside, I was looking forward to introducing her. We drove up the coast just enjoying the ride and company. I loved that she sat in the middle with her curves against me where I could place my arm around her. She’d hum to the tunes and sing quietly, a little shyly with the chorus on the radio. I loved her signing, I could tell she was happy and couldn’t help herself, it was contagious. She perked up and laughed then turned up the radio up and sang out, “There was a Werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand…Ahwooooooo, Werewolves of London. Ahwooooooo.” This whole time I was contemplating how to tell her werewolves are real and the fact that ‘werewolf’ just came from her mouth left me stunned.Dane was choking he was laughing so hard

Chapter 27
Danny POVAs soon as Brenda was introduced, she started in. “I’m so very glad to meet you. So, Dingo tells me you paint. Do you like salad? Oh Good, let’s leave the men to their man stuff, will you help me pick a few tomatoes for lunch?” She was smiling and excited.I’ve never really had many girlfriends so this was a little overwhelming. But Brenda had a sense of peace and genuine kindness I could hardly resist. I smiled as she walked over and grabbed my arm.I didn’t want to leave Davin but Brenda just swept me away to collect tomatoes. He was so handsome, standing there in the sunshine. His eyes taking me in. He slowly let go of my hand saying, “Go on then, we’ll catch up for lunch.”Brenda was a bubbly woman, she had shoulder length curly blond hair and was shorter then me at about 5’5” and I guessed about my age. She had a kind round face and brown eyes, I knew instantly she was everyo

Dingo/Davin POVI didn’t realize how much I had missed her until she walked in from the kitchen. She was carrying a pitcher of water and as usual my breath caught at the sight of her. She smiled and held my gaze as she walked forward and put the pitcher on the table. I loved how she walked, how her hips swayed. How her curves moved with grace. My beautiful Danalee. As soon as she deposited the pitcher, she came and sat down beside me holding my hand.“Hi.” She said, smiling shyly at me.“Did you miss me much?” I asked her teasingly in a low voice.“Nope.” She replied with a mischievous grin on her face.“You’re lying.” I smiled at her looking deeply into her eyes.“Yup.” She said and let a small giggle escape, blushing deeply.Brenda came in with the salad, “Oh Dingo, you need to bring her back in the spring. I think she has solved my rhubarb troubles and I

Chapter 29 -
Danny POVWhen we had finished lunch, Davin said he wanted to show me something. We politely excused ourselves, which consisted of one last teasing jab from Brad, and Davin led me to the front porch. As soon as we were outside, he spun and pinned me against the wall kissing me deeply. He caught me by surprise and stole my breath away. Then he wickedly smiled and said, “I was dying to do that.”I was too but I wasn’t going to admit it. I just laughed and pulled him down the steps. No one was out at the moment but I still felt oddly shy amongst the houses.  “You’re impossible! But your friends are great and this place is breathtaking. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.”He led me toward the trees saying, “Here, I want to show you something.”We walked until we came to a secluded field, surrounded by pines with the sun shining down.I noticed a huge stone bench in the center. Davin took my hands a
