~Author’s Narration~ Loud shrieks and cries of pain came from one room of the packhouse, within the Cross River Pack. Everyone who lingered outside the room tuned in as Mia was beaten to a pulp by her own father. “How dare you bring trouble here? You should have warned your fated mate about our rules!
