Chapter 121
Amara's POV       After putting on a pair of blue Jean and halter neck top, I packed my hair into a bun and applied a lip gloss. I stared at myself observing the changes that could have occurred in my body since I've been having symptoms of pregnancy.      "Do I really look fat and sick at the same time?" I asked no one in particular.      I tried not to look too pretty so that Luciano wouldn't change his mind about letting me out of the house so I went for a pair of flats and stepped in it. I walked towards Luciano who was busy with his laptop and stood right in front of him distracting him from whatever he was doing.      He glanced at me and asked me if I was done dressing up and I replied him positively then he wore a silver bracelet on my wrist and told me to be careful.       I got to the school on time and waited for Obinna who waltzed in some minutes later and apologized for coming late.

Chapter 122
Luciano's POV I watched Shuri say mean words to Amara but I kept quiet watching to how she would handle everything. She didn't respond but waited for her to leave before heading for the toilet. "I guess you're happy now that you've left the house for no good reason," I taunted her while she fiddled with her nails. She kept quiet and her face showed that she was unsettled. Not knowing how to make her feel better, I made her sit between my thighs and massaged her shoulders. "You promised me something yesterday, remember?" I asked. "What was that?" She asked pretending to have forgotten and was about standing up when I pulled her back to me. She struggled with me and I heard something fall to the ground. I wanted to check what dropped but she kissed me immediately. I was amazed at how she suddenly wanted me which further turned me on. Then I remembered her motive and wanted to pull out, but this time she held me strongly and pushed me to the bed

Chapter 123
Luciano's POV Her silence amused me. I wondered why she was bothered with my response. It was normal for her to call me and be riding a man while we are talking so I didn't expect her to feel hurt or taken aback. "You're shameless, Luciano. How can you be doing something like that and still pick my calls. The only thing I can hear right now is her moans and you slamming into her," She complained and I scoffed. At least Amara isn't crying. "It's none of your business, Arianna. You do that too so you don't have the right to complain," I said picking up my pace again. "You both disgust me, I wish she dies soon," She wished and I felt like beating her up. Gosh! This girl is a demon. "You're crazy," I retorted and heard her give some orders. Something was going on around her and I could sense that it wasn't good. "What are you doing?" I asked while she snorted and I could imagine her roll her eyes. All this while Amara kept sil

Chapter 124
Luciano's POV "Why are you all so incompetent?" I yelled hurriedly tossing a shirt on and entering the car. Stefano's message scared the hell out of me as I cussed in fear regretting while I wasn't observant and how I couldn't hear my phone ring when he called. "Drive faster," I ordered. "Yes boss," Dante said. Dante sat beside me and I felt like cutting of his head but then whatever happened wasn't his fault. "Why didn't you call me?" I asked worriedly. "I wasn't the one to pick him up from school today and Stefano told me that he called you multiple times after Luca had called but still you didn't pick up," He explained and I palmed my face in regret. Shit! Sex!! Amara!!! We were headed to the hospital where Gio was currently and the only that I wanted to know was that he was better. I dashed into his ward together with my guards and saw Gio smiling at nurse who was talking to him. He didn't look like someone who had a bro

Chapter 125
Luciano's POV I wasn't comfortable having Amara and Gio stare at each other that way. It felt like they communicated something I couldn't understand and it made my possessiveness and jealousy come to play. My hands massaged my temples while watching them from afar not saying anything to each other. I didn't interfere because I didn't want them to know that I was watching. Suddenly wanting to be distracted, I sent for Shuri. Since I sent her out of my room that day, we hadn't talked to each other though I wasn't comfortable. She was being silly and stubborn, something I couldn't condone. I played with a ball in my hands while I waited for her to appear before me. Surprisingly I didn't mind that she took time, I wanted her to come relaxed. She came in looking broken and weak. Even the powder she applied on her face couldn't mask the pain she felt within. They say black don't crack, baby Shuri look as cracked as hell. From her expressio

Chapter 126
Luciano's POV        I could see the faint look of disappointment in her eyes. She loathed me but I rather endure that than watching Amara being taken away from me.       "Wow! She's that important, I can't believe this," She said ruffling her hair in frustration.      "I'll protect you while you're with him then buy you again as promised. Just take care of yourself ," I finalized.     Shuri rolled her eyes and scoffed.      "You're a coward, uncle. This is the least thing I expect from you. It's obvious you just said everything to make me feel better but I'd let you know that you wasted your energy because I'm ready to go back to Massimo," She said angrily while I stared at her gobsmacked.         "I'm ready to go to him today, my things are actually ready so when can I leave?" She asked defiantly.       "You won't leave until I say so and remember that you're still grounde

Chapter 127
Amara's POV Feeling overwhelmed with what happened in Luciano's office, I couldn't help the sudden flow of tears. The pain was too much, unfortunately, there was no one to console me. Not like I needed it anyway. Luciano's shocked face was still printed in my mind. A devil he was, and what pissed me off further was that he denied the truth even when it was glaring in his face. I didn't mean to hit him but I couldn't bear it anymore. I didn't care if he would come after me later. Laying on the floor, I remembered the video that contained their deaths and cried harder. Luciano was younger then and I could see his eyes looking so cold, without emotions, like he was born to kill. "Fuck you, Luciano!" His body was taut and full of energy and I noticed that he didn't have a tattoo like he did now. I tossed restlessly on the floor as my hands touched something solid under the bed. My eyes darted to its direction and I recognized it to be the test str

Amara's POV Seeing him leave in that manner gave me an unsettling feeling but there was nothing I could do. I shut the door and brought out the test strip and was shocked at the result. pregnant? No! Not a baby. I touched my abdomen, massaging it gently expecting to feel something. I smiled still surprised at what the strip read, then sat on the bed and went through the instructions on the strip's wrapper. After reading everyone of them again, I realized that I followed the instructions accordingly. I decided not to believe the result, it could be faulty so I decided to buy another one or find a way to go the hospital for a proper test. One thing was sure, I won't keep the baby no matter what. I couldn't keep something that reminded me of the person I loathed. Happy with my decision I had my bath and laid on the bed waiting for Luciano to come in. He didn't come as I expected and I felt relieved when I woke up that morning. I went to my wa

Chapter 129
Amara's POV I was currently on Luciano's office glaring at him for querying me about my confrontation with Bella. I wanted to ask him if that was more important than what he did but I kept my mouth shut. "I thought the problem between you and Bella was over? Why are the both of you still having issues?" He asked slowly unbuttoning his tie. I still didn't respond because I wanted him to react angrily or hit me. I just wanted him to do anytning that would make me leave the house. I loathed the very sight of him and I wanted nothing more than to leave his presence. When he noticed that I wasn't responding, he rose calmly from his armchair and walked towards me. I tightened my lips to keep myself from bawling. "I didn't kill your father, that I can promise you. I promise to be a good man though you are driving me crazy," He confessed and I scoffed. "Please don't push me like you've been doing for some time now, so that what happened to Alita w

Chapter 130
Dee's POV Jordan was on his way back and I hated to admit that I missed him. I missed his playfulness, his wit and some features I couldn't remember. But somehow I didn't want him back yet. His absence had brought me closer to my father though I still held some grudges against him. I allowed my hands rove over my chest while resting on the bed then a call came in. I checked and saw that it was Jordan then rolled my eyes before picking. "Hey partner!" He called with enthusiasm while I snorted. "What do you want?" I asked sharply. "I know you miss me already. Don't worry I'll be back soon but I need something from you urgently," He informed me and I scoffed knowing that he called me only because he needed something from me. "What is that?" I asked, feeling less concerned. "Some cash, I don't have enough money to get something for you." He explained. "I'll send you some money soon." I replied then ended the call after hearing h
