CHAPTER 91. Heart to Heart
A lot of planning occurred after that as we discussed the best way to expose the truth about Lady Marie. It was strange, although I knew that this was a serious matter, I could not help but to feel relieved in a way. I was here with the people I cared about, and we were working together to stop the one who would not stop until she gets rid of me, of my loved ones. As we got closer to deciding what to do to Lady Marie, I was comforted about the future where things might be a little easier with my alphas by my side. Surely, I could not have gotten this far without them. Was I too confident to think that no matter the hardship that came for us in the future, we would be able to handle it as long as we worked together? Once the meeting was over, everyone was ready to leave to do their designated roles. I watched as one by one they left the study, thinking that I should probably find some time to talk to them alone if the chance presented itself. “Princess?” Gideon called out, snapp

CHAPTER 92. Cherished Moments
“How much do I remember?” I echoed. “Do you remember that we—” I felt my face burn up and my heart started to pound against my ribcage. I wonder why he was suddenly bringing this up. I looked down to the carpeted floor. “Y-yes! I remember!” I uttered through my bashfulness. It was strange, that was not our first time and yet I felt so self-conscious and shy around him. Maybe it was the fact that Isaiah was standing so close to me right now, being able to watch my blushing face up close—to know the effect he has on me. He let out a sigh of relief. “I’m glad. I thought that I had taken advantage of you when you were at your most vulnerable.” I looked up at him, meeting his gaze. “Ah…you were worried about that?” “Of course.” He muttered. “I did not want you to think that I was just like those scums who dared to lay their hands on you, I did not want you to think I was…a monster.” I smiled, squeezing his hand that was on mine. “I would never think that of you.” “You are no

CHAPTER 93. Peace and Quiet
I woke up earlier than usual the next morning and that could be because I fell into a deep slumber without even having my dinner. Since it was still early, Anne did not come to help me get ready for the day. I decided to wrap a thick cardigan around my body and left to look for something to appease my grumbling stomach. But, since I was not used to Gideon’s manor, I got lost fairly quickly. I found myself roaming around just in an attempt to find another person who would be able to show me how to get to the kitchen but soon my hunger and slight exhaustion of walking around led me to head towards a door that led to a small garden. The morning breeze greeted me, and I could not help but to take in a deep breath as I enjoyed this moment of tranquillity. This was the first time I had felt at peace ever since my father died. After he passed away, all that followed was one mess after another, one nerve-wrecking moment that continuously made my paranoia grow as every second passed by.

CHAPTER 94. Spread the News
“It has to be done by them. No one else besides us knew about Lady Marie and her involvement with Rosaline and the late Emperor Byron.” He said, probably to reassure me as I was starting to overthink about the information we just heard. After getting dressed out of my nightgown, the both of us were quick to leave to look for Gideon. On the first page of the newspaper this morning, everything about Lady Marie was published, evidence and official documents were out in the open for everyone to read, for everyone to know what had happened all those years ago. “If what you say is true, why did they not tell us?” I muttered, since both Augustus and I were out of the loop, not knowing anything about this one bit. Augustus was silent for a moment before shrugging his shoulders. “They must have had their reasons. Let us hear them out before jumping to conclusions.” I glanced over to him, knowing that this was him insinuating that I had to control my emotions before they got the better

CHAPTER 95. Feelings??
After bringing Isaiah up to speed, Aiden and mother came over to give us an update on what was happening at the palace. The authorities arrived to question Lady Marie and according to mother, the noble folks involved were also being questioned at their residences. Gideon told us to not worry too much about anything for now. We then ate breakfast together. Cassian and Gideon left shortly after to make sure everything was going according to plan, but they did not say anything to the rest of us, much alone explain their plan. But I felt peace of mind knowing that I fully trust them and that they knew what they were doing. All I hope is for them to stay safe. I knew that Lady Marie’s time was running out, but I also knew that desperate situations call for desperate measures. If she planned for one final attack on us, then I just pray that she would target me instead of anyone else. But knowing Lady Marie, she had made it clear before that she would not hesitate to drag in innocent li

CHAPTER 96. The Verdict
The plan was in motion at that very moment and according to Cassian, they did not even need to use their ‘secret weapon’ as everyone involved with Lady Marie started to talk and confess to all their crime and I can only think that it was due to the public’s pressure that the noblemen turned against each other. “Everything was revealed.” Gideon started as we all gathered at his study. “From the assassination attempt during the debutante party, the infidelity scandal, Declan Wright’s murder, framing Lord Isaiah and even the princess’ kidnapping, everything was exposed by their own mouth.” “Everything…?” I asked, almost in disbelief. “Seems like these noble folks would do anything to save their own hides.” Isaiah grumbled.? “Either way, this is looking great for us! they can start turning against each other while we can return to the palace now that there are no threats loitering around.” Cassian looked over the moon, happy that everything was coming to an end soon and I wanted

CHAPTER 97. The Moon’s Gaze
Hours turned to days and days turned to weeks in a blink of an eye after the sentencing. I was left to fix plenty of problems that were left behind from Lady Marie but thankfully for me, I had my three alphas there to lend me their hands. Paperwork after paperwork and still the mountain of documents was not getting any smaller. My time in the palace had only gotten more tedious and my coronation had not happened yet, but I could not really complain. Since work has only increased for all of us, I found it hard to even see my husbands around anymore. Our schedules did not align, we barely had time to meet for breakfast and dinner because some worked through the night like Cassian and Isaiah while others started their day extremely early. Some days, I don’t even see them at all. “Is everything alright, princess?” Rodrick asked as he was giving me his daily report. I blinked only to find myself staring at a blank piece of paper. I turned to look at Rodrick, a concerned expression o

CHAPTER 98. The Sun’s Embrace
“What?” they said in unison. I started to panic, maybe this was a bad idea after all. Maybe if I told them earlier and allowed them to think things through then maybe it would be easier for them. The marking process does not only affect me after all, if it was a success then they will be bonded to me as I will be bonded to them. The talk I had with Augustus all that time ago seemed to appear in my mind all of a sudden. “Of course, I won’t force any of you to do it! I know that asking you to mark me is initially asking you to give your heart and body to me and I would never want to do anything that any of you are opposed to. I just—” “Wait. Weren’t you the one who didn’t want to get marked in the first place?” Isaiah asked. “Y-yes but things change.” I said, almost in a whisper. “Haha, the princess is smitten.” Cassian teased. I glared at him, and he quickly raised his hands up in defence. “But to be marked by the three of us, I do not think that is possible. Whoever marked

CHAPTER 99. Everlasting Bonds
“Are you ready, Cordelia?” Augustus asked, his lips tickling my side. I wanted to agree but my heart hammered loudly against my chest. There was no doubt that Augustus could hear it beating frantically since he was the closest to my chest. There was a silence that followed as the three of them took their positions. The spots where their lips touched felt hot, my skin growing ablaze. I closed my eyes, unable to handle the anticipation that was twisting my stomach. I twitched when I felt Cassian’s tongue licked the spot, he was about to bite whereas Isaiah merely kissed his spot tenderly. “Just endure it for a little while, okay?” Isaiah reassured, lips brushing against my skin, causing light shivers to run down my spine. “I-I know. I’m ready.” I reconfirmed, still closing my eyes in hopes that the jitters I felt would subside soon. But everything happened all of a sudden, they must have conducted themselves among each other because I felt sharp pains coming from the spots they

CHAPTER 100. Empress Cordelia
Cassian’s arms were around my waist to make sure I did not slip off from thighs. His length was buried deep inside me, doing what he had mentioned earlier, thrusting Isaiah’s come back into me. The position we were in was rather taxing, my back pressed up against his chest while he was the one moving me up and down. I was surprised by his hidden strength but could not truly focus on it because Augustus was distracting by nibbling on my hardened nipples. His fingers would purposely brush against the still raw bite mark he had left on my side and every time he did, I felt my body shudder. “You like to have your chest played with? Hm?” Cassian’s hot breath whispered into my ear. “You’re tightening up so much,” “I ah, that’s not true—!” I tried to deny his words, but my mind was blanking every time the tip of his length brushed against my sweet spot. I was certain that I would not be able to control myself any longer. My body was burning, core knotting up as I wanted more of their
