The midnight breeze caressed the wet cheeks of the weeping girl. Her sniffles are drowned out by the deafening music that booms from within the massive hall and surrounds the vast mansion estate. My head knows that if I sign this, I will give away everything I have worked hard for; that my freedom will be snatched away from me, making me a puppet on a string. The next daySitting next to her on the hospital bed, I hear her fate breaths – she is struggling to fight for her next breath. My heart aches to watch her laying still in this place. Her ward is cold, freezing cold like she is in a mortuary. I shake my head to shake away that disturbing thought.I examine my mother and her ghostly pale appearance – Gosh! I am going to miss her.
