Chapter Fifty One - A Party And Some Restraint
Nolan Walter "She is actually out with Gwen and her friends right now. Do not fret, my child, she will be okay," my mother said on the phone, her voice soothing me from my worries of Gwen planning something. l inhaled deeply, brushing my hair back as I leaned against the wall with the phone pressed to my ear. I was glad Gwen was trying. I was happy even. "Thank you, Mother. I am glad Gwen is trying. How are you doing?" I asked her, remembering my manners.A few people had passed me, eyeing me down as I spoke into the phone, but I growled lowly at them so they had no other option but to back off. "Your father and I are doing quite fine. How is your therapy going?" she replied, keeping the conversation light and free flowing. I smiled, knowing how well it was. I was doing quite well, my anger issues were diminishing and I now had almost full control over my wolf. Things were finally brightening up for me and it meant that Natalie and I could sort out our issues better. I was really

Chapter Fifty Two - Girl Time
Natalie Grayson I didn't really like shopping, to be honest. I was carrying three bags filled with clothes and half weren't even my own. The three girls who seemed unaffected by two hours of non-stop shopping were happily conversing about the latest trends as well as holding four bags each, two on each arm as they were being followed by three guards and me. I huffed out a breath. The three guards beside me were watching me curiously as they too, held three bags filled with clothes. One even offered to hold the bags that were with me, but I declined, noticing how much bags were on his own arms. We should have just brought a trolley. "Natalie! There is a cute dress over in that store that I know would look good on you!" Sophie giggled out, coming over to grab my arm and guiding me to the store where a pretty white dress was being showcased on a mannequin. It landed mid thigh and had a very Goddess like look, with lace overlapping the white fabric and some skin being shown in the stom

Chapter Fifty Three - A Mate
Natalie Grayson "Oh Goddess, I am really sorry," the guy said. He held a cup that was empty of the liquid which was the same colour and smell of the smoothie which was poured onto us. The guy was blushing quite hard as the friends behind him were snickering in the background. We were fine, but one of the guards who were watching over us stood up and grabbed the poor guy, restricting him from movement. Gwen was blushing quite hard at this point, cleaning up the smoothie which had landed on her shirt as her friends groaned out in annoyance and rushed to the bathroom. The guy was looking at Gwen with wide eyes as she threw a sympathetic glance at his way while still cleaning herself up. "Mike, let him go. He didn't do anything wrong," she commanded the guard and instantly, his hands dropped from the guy's body.He was quite attractive, with light brown hair which was spiked up in a nice wave, thick eyebrows and bright blue eyes. He had a few freckles on his face, with bright pink lips

Chapter Fifty Four - Pure Bliss
Natalie Grayson Zach and Gwen’s relationship was blossoming into something adorable. A mark was already on her neck one week after they were proclaimed mates. Nolan and Brandon who were not so ecstatic about the whole ordeal, had avoided Zach like a plague, whereas her parents were absolutely thrilled. It was weird to see Gwen so damn happy all the time, and the romance between she and Zach was almost sickening. I saw them making out on the couch as I ate my breakfast, and I heard their activities in the hallways almost twice every week. I really envied them in every way. I stopped interacting with everyone. Gwen's friends were almost forgotten because of her new mate and they seemed to have quite a few fights here and there. I tried to ignore the pang in my chest every time Nolan's parents talked on and on about the newly mated couple, and me and Brandon loathed every second of it. He had become my only rock besides Nolan, and he knew the pain of seeing a very happy couple always

Chapter Fifty Five - Some Time Together
Natalie Grayson I woke up with my mate in my arms. Her body heat was giving me warmth as I held her body to my own. She was facing me, and I was wrapping my arms around her waist as I brought her closer to me.Her aura was giving off a calm blue, with a slight tinge of pink around her heart and anywhere I touched her, and it made me feel lighter every time my hands skimmed another area. I smiled lightly, and even though I couldn't see her face, I knew she was beautiful. Her personality was amazing and she was just Natalie. She was my mate. It was probably around eleven in the morning, and I had mind-linked a servant to bring us breakfast before eleven-thirty so that Natalie would have a good rest and I could spend my time admiring her. My heart felt warm being next to her. I felt happier, lighter, and brighter. I had finally completed my therapy and even though I was still able to see her on Sundays when I was still undergoing it, it was not enough for me. But now I was here and I

Chapter Fifty Six - More Time Together
Natalie Grayson I was snuggled up in the library after asking one of the servants to clean it after the Gwen incident. Nolan was doing his Alpha duties before we left for the honeymoon thing, and I was casually catching up on my Harry Potter books before I heard the slight knock on the library door. “Come in," I told whoever was at the door, and it slowly opened, revealing Nolan who was dressed in an impeccably smart looking outfit. He wore a dark blue button up shirt and black dress pants with, of course, matching black shoes. I was blessed with such a good looking mate. I smiled brightly and placed my book down before I ran up to him, wrapped my arms around him and inhaled his scent. "It has been two hours since I last saw you," he said, chuckling slightly as he also embraced me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "Are you complaining?" I asked and smirked, loving the feeling of his arms wrapped around me. He made me feel very safe and protected at all times. "Never," he whis

Chapter Fifty Seven - A Different Family Reunion
Natalie Grayson I ran to my family immediately. They were all together while they talked to some pack members, and I could see that they were enjoying themselves. Nolan was behind me, his hand clasped in my own as I hurried towards them. Alice, Beth, Dave and Matt were talking to other children of their own age before they all saw me, and immediately they all screamed, besides Matt who didn't really care to do that as he ran towards me. Tears welled in my eyes as my hand slipped out of Nolan's to welcome my siblings in my arms. Alice was crying wildly and sobbing into my shoulder as she clutched onto my body. Beth and Dave hugged me from the back, giggling wildly as they placed wet kisses on the back of my body. My parents seemed to notice my appearance as they rushed to me and hugged me from both sides until I felt suffocated under all the weight, but in that moment, I felt complete. I shed tears of joy with them, and no words were spoken as we just hugged each other until we cou

Chapter Fifty Eight - Explanations
Natalie Grayson My mother was someone who would speak her mind if it meant protecting the ones she loved. Right now was the perfect example. She had the confidence as if she was born a Luna. Nolan's gaze and everyone else's gazes were directed to my family, who, besides my mother and father, looked around cautiously. My breath hitched in my throat as I saw Nolan's family looking towards my family, obviously not liking the disrespect my mother was giving to Nolan who was trying hard not snap. His grip on my shoulder was almost painful as his elongated nails turned into small claws. I bit my lip, as I tried not to gasp in pain. The air was thick with tension, and if the tension was a real thing, I could cut it with a sharp knife. I stared at my mother who sat up straight as she looked Nolan in the eye as an act of defiance. She could have been seriously hurt if Nolan was not my mate, because he was holding on to the last string of restraint that he had for me. And even if he hurt my

Chapter Fifty Nine - A Visit
Natalie Grayson The vacation that Nolan and I were supposed to go on had been postponed to next week due to my family being here instead of back in my old pack. It had been three days since the incident and I couldn't shake off the guilty feeling that was in me since the events of that fateful afternoon. I felt heavy everywhere as if something heavy was on my body and I couldn't rid of the memories of my mother's disappointed face. I felt utterly depressed when I should have been happy. Nolan had been trying to put a smile on my face all the time, but his attempts were in vain as I only managed to give him a fake smile, and that hurt me even more. The day after the incident he surprised me with a bunch of white roses, bitthis attempt to cheer me up only brought a small smile to my face as I gave him a kiss. It sat in my room, and every time I looked at it, I felt even more terrible for not reacting happier or more bubbly. But it made me realize he was trying, so at least I should b

Chapter Sixty - Apologies And Acceptance
Natalie Grayson "What do you want, Natalie?" my mother asked as she sat on the bed with my father while I sat across from them on a small stool. I bit my lip as I triedto put a sentence together before staring at them with guilt behind my eyes. "I am here to apologize for not at least contacting you after everything that happened. Honestly, I feel so terrible,” I confessed trying not to look them in the eyes. It was hard not to see my mother's disappointment when she was sitting just a few feet away. "I just can't believe you didn't at least call, even after everything we and your siblings have been through. We thought you would at least try to contact us. We would have understood if you haven't been settled, but even when you had the chance, you didn't and that's just selfish," my father spat out, his hands forming tight fists as my mother placed her hand on his thigh. "I know it was selfish of me to not call you, but I couldn't face you all. I could visibly see Matt and Alice al
