My unanswered questions
>>JenaWhat in the world happened back there?Having to deal with Ron and his psychotic behavior was one thing, I looked to my side where Ulrich was still asleep in the hospital bed, having him appear out of nowhere is not helping.I had no idea someone had followed me inside the building, but even if I disregard that fact, how did he manage to in front of me so fast? I wasn’t near the hallway or the pillars.I frowned and shook my head lightly as I tried to make sense of it.And that guy who came in, he was a little taller than Ulrich but Ulrich seemed scared of him. My frown got deeper. And he called him ‘Your highness’ He even told him he’d make a

The realm of magic
>>Portia“He said he’ll open the portal,” Ruda seemed a little nervous, “But he also says that he can’t allow you to stay in the enchanted forest for too long.” It was the first time I met Ruda, we didn’t exactly introduce each other but he was quite polite, but maybe that was because of the lycans.“Any specific reason for that?” Egon asked while he was supporting Ulrich’s weight. This is how bad silver is for us. Even for a lycan, it was brutal enough to burn and rupture his insides.“You can ask the king yourself.” Ruda placed his hand on the huge oak tree, “He would know better,” Mist began to rise from the ground and we four looked down. We were standing in the dense forest whe

Reunion
>> Portia Fascinating as it was magical, it seemed the creatures of the forest lived inside the humongous tree houses. I couldn’t tell if they were built like this or if they were a part of the tree since it looked as if the houses emerged from within them, they were so closely connected but then again seeing how nicely furnished they were they couldn’t have been just a part of the tree, work was definitely done on it by architects and workers. It was all just so magical, especially since the houses looked so great. Bricks, wood, cement, everything was used in making it, yet it fits in with the forest so perfectly. I wish I could see the insides! I really want to! I glanced at Harou who was keenly observing our surroundings as well. Egon still had his arm around hi

The end of one problem
>>Portia All eyes were on Harou. So, this is what he meant by doing risky stuff.  “Yea, I met him.” Harou glanced at Egon, “I had things I wanted to confirm.” And both Egon and Ulrich got distracted. Egon ignored what Harou said and came over to cover me, “Portia, stay behind.” “Scared I’d kill her too?” Miers smirked, “Like I killed your first mate?” He nodded playfully, “Liza,” Egon got furious, and his lycan begged to come out and rip the enemy apart. Wait… First mate? There was someone before me?

Going back
>>Portia A big fight was about to break out when I yelled, “STOP!” And all of the men quiet down. I clenched my fists. There was a frown on my face, but my eyes were on the enemy, “He’s gone.” The anger left everyone’s expressions, followed by slight surprise and then silence. They turned to look at Miers’ lifeless body. His eyes were slightly open with no sign of life left in them.We all stared at him for a few moments, unsure about what to do now. Were we supposed to do something about the body? I looked at the men, they all had a frown on their faces. “Do

Home
>>Portia “I’m home,” I whispered as I entered Jena’s house, then paused, “Right…” The lights were off and I knew why. Jena must be in the club. I sighed.I should tell her that I’m back home so she doesn’t need to go to the penthouse. I got my phone and texted her exactly that then took a deep breath. I was still feeling queasy. I went to my bedroom and lay down on the bed with my face buried in the pillows. I wasn’t expecting this to take such a turn. After Miers's death, I should have been able to freely be with my mate but this took such a bad and sudden turn.

Better decisions
>>Portia “Look,” Ulrich sighed, “The thing is, Egon wasn’t raised properly, I mean, how kids should be raised. He was raised to be a soldier and I know he sucks at conveying his emotions and all but I assure you,” He smiled at me, “He does try his best.” I looked down and pondered upon his words. If the prince hadn’t shared this all me, I don’t think I would have ever been able to tell that he held these feelings inside of him because, on the surface, they both get along so well! But I see now that Ulrich is also the one who knows Egon the best, and he bared that side of his, for me and his best friend. “You think,” I started speaking, “We

Show me who you really are
>>Jena The hope in his eyes made me panic. What was I supposed to do with that? It was overwhelming for me! I didn’t stop him on purpose! It just happened!! “You never gave me an answer,” I asked the first thing that came into my mind. “Yes?” He seemed a little confused. “You’re royalty?” I previously said I didn’t care but here I am. Portia let go of my hand and stepped back and I knew she knew everything and was feeling guilty. His facial expression turned from confusion to shock, “Um,” Now there wasn’t any reason for h

A decree for a new ruler
>>Ulrich I went back to the penthouse feeling more drained that a month-old grape. I don’t think it could have gone any worse. I knew humans wouldn’t take it well and yet I showed my form to her. We’re more terrifying than werewolves… from a human’s point of view that is. But what else could have I done?! She would have shunned me if I hadn’t!  I dropped on the three-seater couch face down and drowned in my misery. This sucks! If I hadn’t proved my identity to her she would have hated me more and never would have let me near her, on the other hand now that I have, I feel like the outcome still didn’t change thou
