Ride With Me
"You're welcome to the pack, Sage." The head of Gamma wolves greeted him after shifters had gathered to welcome him. "It's an honour to have you here again." The Gamma added. "Thank you, Rae." Sage appreciated and turned to face Aurora who nudged him to get on the altar since everyone was waiting for him to climb the altar. The crowd screeched at his appearance, and after then they made a bow to him. He was previously the leader of the pack fighters and the King's right-hand man before he went out of the pack. While he was still at the pack, he ruled the pack fighters mightily and they had all adorned him until he left. Now that he was back, they loved him more. After some introduction to those who didn't remember him like Aurora, he thanked them for their warm welcome and the pleasant greeting came to an end. Spark And Sweet Sensation
The drive was hasty but smooth until the car plunged on a hook and the wheel became plastered. Sage who had driven at a normal speed was able to control the brake but missed his feet on the clutch and the car stumbled on a speed hump, making the vehicle jump from the ground, hitting the ground again before stopping on its track."What are you driving?!" Aurora squealed when she finally got herself to breathe. She swept her head to Sage who was already cursing the hook that had twitched his car wheel. He didn't say anything and unlocked his car to go out, Aurora doing the same with rage. This was the reason she should have taken her car instead of joining Sage."What's wrong?" She asked and tilted her hair to the back of her ear to avoid the wind blowing it over to her face. "What you desire," Sage answered with a serious tone. He hated the fact that his car had to stop when he was having a good time with Aurora thinking she might want to find another transport and leave him behind."

You Aren't My Mate
Aurora smelled Fennick the moment he arrived at her cottage. She quickly hid the novel she was reading under her pillow and rumbled her duvet to cover herself up. She closed her eyes and pretended to sleep, shutting her mind so he wouldn't sense that she wasn't sleeping. The expected knock came on her door but she didn't dare to answer it. She knew it was him and she wasn't ready to forgive yet. The knock came in again but she still didn't respond to it praying for him to leave. However, Fennick wasn't ready to leave. He hasn't seen her since the other night and she won't let him in. He knew she must have shut him away from her thoughts because that was what she always does when it comes to their arguing. He tried pushing the door open and thankfully for him, Aurora has forgotten to lock it. He smiled, opened the door for him to enter and walked in, closing the door behind him. His gaze fell upon her bed, where she was sleeping and he had no choice but to giggle.Aurora was smart but

Do You Always Wish?
Sage stood in front of Aurora's gate waiting for her to come out of her cottage. The King had sent them both to town to check out the town market where it was said a big fight had erupted between shifters. He had come to deliver the message for her and she had gone up to change her dress. She came running out, fixing her spec to fit her eyes. She didn't put on her uniform this time, instead, she wore black nylon pants with a black brown coat and black inner. She had her black book on and everything fitted her perfectly making Sage fall in love with her once again. She got to him and they walked to his car where he had parked it. But as soon as he opened the car for her to get in, another hand clasped it shut and they both turned to look at the person who had shot it. It was Fennick.Sage's wolf groaned but silently as he was able to control it so that they wouldn't notice how angry he was. He waited patiently to see what Fennick was up to. With a blink of an eye, Fennick had pulled

Mated To A Stranger Wolf
Alpha Cowell sat gracefully on his enormous silver throne with his aura filling the whole hall in the pack building. On top of his head sat a golden throne to represent his status. Elders and his associates were also seated and they waited for him to make his speech which he had called them for. "Great Lock Hearts pack!" He greeted them."Your highness!" They hailed and bowed their heads in respect. The King made himself comfortable on his seat and cleared his throat. "We got a threat today." He announced and looked around over their faces to see their expression and as he already inferred, the faces in front of him had their mouths opened. "Surprise?" He said more like he wanted to ask a question. He continued, "The checkmate is from our neighbourhood pack.""The Autumn pack?" The head of Gamma inquired and the King nodded."Yes, the Autumn pack. They explained that some of their pack members were here yesterday and they had been beaten up by some members of our pack." A gasp esca

Unknown Attack
It was a long journey from the Lock Hearts pack to the Autumn pack. They had left their pack around 7 pm and arrived at Autumn's pack by 8 am. Typically, they weren't supposed to spend more than six hours but because it was from dusk to dawn, they had to relax and sleep for some hours. They headed straight to the pack building with Autumn fighters surrounding them to protect their pack from being attacked. However, the Lock Hearts pack weren't there to formulate violence instead they had gone to build peace between the two packs. Either way, they still wouldn't fight since the Lock Hearts pack wasn't as much as the Autumn pack so, they could be defeated easily. Rae, Sage and Aurora walked at the front and about ten pack fighters followed behind while the remaining four Gammas strode at the back in case there was any attack from behind, they would be the ones to secure the rest. Not long, they finally arrived at the pack building and were ushered into the pack hall. Sitting graceful

When You Find Your Mate, You Leave
Sage watched Gwen as he treated Aurora, putting mixed concoctions on top of her wound while she winced in pain. She had tried to heal up but the wound was too intense, causing her wolf to weaken and unable to rehabilitate. Sage had carried her down to his room, immediately after they got back from their journey. He had also called the healer, Gwen, to attend to her forthwith. "Do you feel any internal pain?" Gwen asked and she scoffed at him. Why wouldn't she feel pain? Wasn't he aware the blade had twitched her deep?"You adding the concoctions made it worse." She replied with a whimper. This was her first time getting a deep wound and it felt like hell for her. "Try making your wolf heal you." Gwen proposed but received a growl from Sage. "How do you expect them to heal? Can't you see they are trying their best!" Sage snapped, winning a suspicious glance from Gwen. Hope it was not what he was thinking about. Sage moved closer to Aurora, bent and placed his hands on her head, "Yo

Someone Who Wouldn't Cause My Death
Alpha Cowell summoned the shifters that have gone to the neighbourhood pack to question them about the assassin since he already suspected that Autumn pack might have something to do with it, but why would they make such an attack?"They hide their scent and they were trained assassins. None of them dared to shift." Rae delivered as they all bowed to their King who was sitting on a couch in his chamber, Beta Craig standing beside him. "How many were they?" Alpha Cowell asked with outrage. He just couldn't believe an assault would happen when they went to cultivate peace. It was unruly."About thirty of them," Rae conveyed and Alpha Cowell hit his fist against the couch, furiously. Beta Craig inquired, "Describe their dressing, fight skills and how they talked.""None of them said a word apart from their groans. Their skills were unmatched by ours, making them flee. I noticed all the ones left didn't even breathe and I suspect they killed themselves so we wouldn't have anyone to ques

He Mustn't Claim Her
Sitting down on the couch in his room, he used his hands to ruffle his hair. The fact that he couldn't have Aurora out of his head was driving him crazy. What more could he ask for? Aurora was his real mate, why was he being punished? Is it the same way it felt to everyone who found their mate? Why was he different from others? Why would Aurora punish him that way? At that moment, he was fed up. He had tried discussing it with her yet she turned down all his questions. She wouldn't even give him a clue about why she was refusing to see her mate. Maybe if he knew a little of it, he would know how to adjust himself. It looked like he was a bad person who would mate with her.Slowly and steadily he finally stood up from the armchair he sat on for close to an hour and made his way downstairs. He smelled his mother's scent in the kitchen, then he headed there. He stood at the kitchen door and rested his body against the door watching his mom as she went about preparing their dinner. Zara

It Won't Hurt
"Where are you going?" Sora asked Aurora immediately she spotted her running down the stairs that led to their garage. Aurora mind-linked Sora, "I'm going for a run." She lied."Again? How many times do you have to run in a day?" Sora asked again through a mind link since Aurora wasn't in sight."I need to do something, Mrs Horatio," she proclaimed, already inside the garage. "I'll be back soon.""Be careful," Sora warned worriedly. Her granddaughter had been staying out late for the past few days which she never did. Before dusk, Aurora was already in her room locked up unless she needed to do something as a leader to the pack fighters but it seems her time to return home had changed. Aurora on her own had been called out by Sage and she had merrily jumped out of her bed even when she had returned from a run a few hours before he called. She took the garage to convince Sora that she was truly going for a run. She got to the garage and hurried out down to her cottage gate. There she
