ARABELLA POV Rhys was gone by the time I came back to the ward. I felt pity for him; pain and pity. Somehow his agony echoed within me, stretching the thin walls of my sanity. It was almost as if I could feel exactly what he was feeling, only faint. I didn’t find him anywhere in the ward and Bruno was still sleeping. I checked around and even the windows (I know, absurd), but I still didn’t see him. The only logical thing that came to my mind was that he’d be at home.When I didn’t see him check in the next day, I became worried.
