*Nikko's POV*Ash's paws pounding on the earth perfectly matched the pounding of my heart as we made our way to the packhouse. I couldn't believe the effect that this girl was having on me after only a couple of weeks. For the first time since my dad died, I felt truly happy.The packhouse came into sight, and I shifted back into myself, so that I could head upstairs to my room and get some clothes on. There were a few members of the pack that were hanging out in the common room today, and they acknowledged me as I walked by.Once in my room, I put on the first clothes that I grabbed and headed to the office. I wanted to get done with everything as soon as possible, so that way I could go see her early.
