CHAPTER 71- DUE DAY
DAISY They kept procrastinating the day of the celestial event and it started to annoy me because I wanted to get it over without all of the anxiety that was brewing up in me. I tried to kill myself three times but each time, I chickened out. I did not know how to just kill myself without having the most intense and crippling fear of the after all. I have been there once. I could not remember what life was after death, but I was still too scared to experience it again. The women had tried their best to make me happy. Every night, they called out on some of the witches to put on a show for me. They had completely healed me from all of the pain I went through during pregnancy that I couldn’t even remember what it felt like. They had given me the best last days anyone could ever ask for, but I tried to relish every last of it. At least even after all of this, I was rest assured that my mates and my children were happy and healthy back at home. I knew that they would not be able to post

CHAPTER 72- REUNITING WITH THEM
DAISY I woke up in a big, black room that had no windows. The crippling anxiety settled in once I noticed the darkness that was overwhelming me. I wiped my face with my hands as I got up to my feet and groaned. Here we go again, another attempt at dying without actually dying. Did the witches manage to resurrect me and now they are planning on sacrificing me in the next moon? That would be crazy because I knew that this time was going to be bad. I groaned as the realisation that I had failed dawned on me once again. The witches were going to gain power and they were going to kill my children and my mates as revenge for what I did. For betraying them, and for killing Killian. They were not going to make it easy on me. I tried to adjust my eyes to the darkness until I could finally see something in the room. Like a small window by the far end and a little door. I sighed gladly as I walked toward it, hopeful that there was at least a door to the room so I might be able to get out of it

CHAPTER 73- WOLF TELEPATHY
DAISY “Your daughter?” I choked out. My heart was racing at that point, and my mind was still trying to understand what she meant by that. My parents have been long dead. Could they have been here all along, which meant that they were never really dead in the first place? They were staying in this nice heaven of theirs while they waited for me to join them one day. It was true then. I was really dead and the witches were not going to use me or my blood to get back their powers. That made me so happy. The person who she called my father came out of one of the rooms. His eyes looked bloodshot, like he was sleeping, but there was such a familiar look on his face. It did not take me long to realize that it was because the look was like the one on my face. We looked exactly alike. He was my father, indeed. I did not notice that I looked like my mother that much but for him, I certainly did. “Oh my God, Lucy.” He let out a breath as he rushed towards me and engulfed me in a hug. For a seco

CHAPTER 74- CENTURIES OF LOVE
DAISY There was a lot of bread and soup on the table where it was set. I did not know how it took my mother so little time to set the table including me. The food looked scrumptious and my mother immediately started to water. I wondered where they got all the ingredients from since the whole place was made of daisies and some roses. I refrained from asking the question because it might come off as intrusive.“I used to make this meal for you all the time when you were younger, Daisy.” My mother said as she sat down on the seat in front of the table. I laughed at that because that was not even possible. I was a baby when they died. How could they have been able to feed me bread and soup? I was supposed to be surviving off breastmilk and water. “I was a baby then. How did I eat it?” I asked her with a little humour in my tone. I watched as her eyes locked with my father’s eyes, and then the colour in her face drained. My heart squeezed. “What is wrong?” I had a feeling something was

CHAPTER 75- LAST GOODBYES
DAISY “Do you know what it means for a daisy to grow everywhere on a farm once you step foot into a barren land?” My father asked me as we walked down the vast field. When I had come here initially, I had every right to believe that the entire place was just made of flowers but that was not the case. It was way more than just that. There were trials made for Kira to play in and some were designed for Salem. They have fields where they planted and grew all of their crops that they used to eat. My mother told me that sometimes, if they didn’t want to cook, she could just do something and it was going to happen. I asked her if I could do that too but she told me that I couldn’t since the magic system was gone in the world. But if I had created my realm then everything I willed was going to happen since I was going to be the master of it. Somehow I wished that I had known about this before I died and came here. Now that I was spending the last hours of my life here, I was thinking of al

CHAPTER 76- PROTECTION SPELLS
DAISY I felt like I was floating in a limbo for what seemed like an eternity and then suddenly, I was sprung back into life. I was confused for a moment, my eyes looking around to see what was going on but my eyesight was blurry. I could not see well, all I could feel was the clamour around me and the feeling of the dusty air. It felt as if there was a war going on. I couldn’t open my eyes well enough to see, and then I realised that there was someone who could help me with that. “What is going on Kira?” I asked her through our link. “A war.” She replied throatily. Even though I had suspected that, knowing that it was actually happening opened up my eyes. I stood up to my feet as I pushed myself to come awake. I knew for sure that we were in the pack because I had willed it so and apparently my wills always came true. I walked out of the place where we were which seemed like a hiding spot or some cave that was built in the middle of the grounds. When I came out, there were a lot of

CHAPTER 77- A BALANCE
DAISYI shifted back into my human form while Declan stood behind me with his suit handed over to me with a hand. I thought he was going to look but instead, he looked away respectfully. It made me admire him more because even though he was one of my mates, he wanted to wait for me until I felt comfortable enough to show him my body. That was something big to me. I collected the suit and covered my naked body with it. I closed the front with the buttons, then I cleared my throat so he could look back. “I am done.” I told him. He turned to face me almost immediately, and then he hugged me to his chest. He kissed my forehead, even though it was bloody and dirty, and then my lips. I guess he couldn’t wait. “I do not have the words to explain to you how much I missed you,” when I looked into his eyes, there were tears in them. “I had almost lost all hope that you were going to come back to me. We had searched everywhere for you and when we found you and those wicked witches had taken yo

CHAPTER 78- DEJA VU
DAISY “Oh my God, Daisy!” Poppy sprang up from the chair and rushed to me with a look on her face that almost made me cry. I missed her so much. Words couldn’t explain how much I was feeling now that I had my best friend back with me and my kids. I have never felt more fulfilled. She gave me a bear hug, and at that point, it was everything I had always wanted. When she let me go, I could see the slight confusion on her face because of my choice of clothing. I couldn’t wait to tell her all about my new wolf, and what had happened to me. Strangely enough, even though we have always wondered about it, I wanted to keep my old identity. I did not want my name to be stripped away from me. I did not want Lucy Black anymore because quite frankly, the person that was Lucy is far gone. She is several centuries gone. My life now is everything I could ever ask for and I was grateful for it. “Oh my God.” She repeated, her eyes brimming with tears. Mine were too but they were unshed. I couldn’t b

CHAPTER 79- HIS ASHES
DAISY Grief. I had never known how deeply that ate a person up until today. I had lost people in my past life as Lucy Black, and I had also lost Joyce when I first came to this pack but nothing compared to losing one of my mates. My chest went blank, and there was this white noise in the background of my ears like I was about to give it all up and die. It was the most traumatising thing I have ever heard, and it had reeled me for the next week. I felt like giving up when I heard it. To lock myself up in my room and never leave again but that was not even possible now because I had kids. I had to take care of them. A week had passed and I felt like I was going crazy. I realised that even Julian and Declan did not have time to mourn their brother. After he died, the witches attacked almost immediately and they were threatening to come in and destroy everything. They had to act fast and drop everything they were going to gather their soldiers and prepare them for war at such a short no

CHAPTER 80- LOCATOR SPELL
DECLAN “What does this man even want from us?” Julian’s usual whining came while I tossed the pancake on fire that I managed to mix. Wren asked us to make her pancakes because she was with the kids while Daisy was out on a work. We decided to relieve the cooks of their duties for the rest of the week while we were mourning. They only came into the simple tasks and they left. We took routines in cooking and taking care of the triplets, because we needed the work and bonding to get over the traumatic event we had just witnessed. “We want to talk to us about what had happened, probably.” I suggested. Beta Andrew was literally our second father now. If he summoned us then it had to be something about our brother's death and I really did not want to discuss that right now. “I do not want to talk about it.” Julian shrugged, plopping a grape in his mouth as he straightened up and sat down on the counter. “Neither do I. But we cannot decline his call. We need to go now.” I told him as I t
