The Betrayal
ROSE'S POVAfter half an hour of waiting my guardian angel finally shows up, looking elegant and poise despite this being a thick forest. As usual, we are extremely happy to see each other so she embraces me with all the affection there is on earth. Can't wait to see her reaction when I tell her what I have achieved since the last time we met. She always wanted me to make her proud by being as passionate and strong as she and I finally did it. I achieved something that no lady has ever done before. "How have you been?" She asks her hands on my shoulders."Excellent. I really missed you though." Her smile brightens. "I missed you too." She sighs and looks straight at my joyous face. "Tell me, how close are we to success?""You won't believe it. We got everything we needed and a lot more! You can come back home with me now." I say divulging proudly. She regards me with scepticism and I understand. Who would have thought it could happen so fast? I was an ordinary servant and depresse

The Angel I Thought I Knew
EVAN'S POVPeople say that I get too ruthless when people cross me and that's very true. Sometimes mercy does leave my mind and I act like I have no heart. But haven't I been too soft on a woman that once took the life of my servant and destroyed my mate's family just because she couldn't control her envy? Her sentence would have been dead if she weren't my mother. She lives because I allowed it. Yet instead of being grateful and staying the fk away from my Kingdom, she went after my mate's family, again.I have had enough of her obsessive jealousy and extreme lack of morality. I don't feel the slightest sense of concern as I walk into the tinny cell that is already overcrowded with soldiers.Rose yells at the soldiers, warning them of the harsh punishment they would receive once I learn that they have harmed her. My evil mother just sits glaring at her foolish friend, probably knowing very well that I had tricked the girl.Rose sighs with relief when she notices me. "Look what these

Hide And Seek
THIRD PERSON'S POVA young slave girl nervously cleans up the small table with leftovers as the arrogant Alpha reads sets aside the bunch of paper he was reading and looks up at her. She hastily picks up the plates, eager to get the work done and get away from his unnerving gaze. "Tell my useless partner to bring me a report on her progress. She should walk away if there is nothing she has achieved." He orders. The girl sighs with relief after realising that she is not the one in trouble."The former Queen has not come back yet. I will tell her once she arrives, sir.""Are you sure she isn't back? Have you searched the house?" The Alpha asks, seeming alarmed."Yes, she hasn't returned." She affirms and he jumps up from his seat. "Tell everyone to pack up, we are leaving!" He states then groans with rage and disappointment."May I ask why, sir?" "That stupid woman obviously got captured! And once she tells her son where we are he will be on his way. We are lucky he cannot teleport t

Where To Search
TALIA'S POVI can not search every home in an entire pack. I should have thought this through before hurrying to come here. I think I got too desperate to find my sister after reading that she isn't well. The problem is it only gets worse. She is not old enough to phase, which means she may succumb to the disease if she goes without treatment for too long. I have limited time to find her or I will lose her forever. Why couldn't she write more in that letter? The search would be easier if we at least knew where to look. The man that stole her could have taken her anywhere, including miles away from this Kingdom. She is not a royal or a popular being in any way. So asking strangers if they have ever seen her is an act of desperation that obviously won't bear any fruits. But it helps me convince my throbbing heart that I am doing something to find her. I got here yesterday before nightfall and was lucky to meet the King's soldiers only a few miles after riding past the borderline. Un

The Mother I Knew
TALIA'S POVThe tiny cell is the last thing I wanted to ever see again. Every second I spent in it felt like living an actual nightmare. The pitch darkness makes you feel like you're locked away in a different dimension from the rest of the world.Knowing that I would get painfully executed after the five days were over made the experience even worse. I had appalling hallucinations of my death and hated them more than I hated the hunger and thirst that were more likely to kill me sooner. I wish I can wipe off everything that happened from my memories. Unfortunately, that will never be possible. I will have to grow stronger, I after all got reborn with a face and power that ordinary people can only dream of. The transition was painful and shameful but I am better now than I was three years ago and people that never lived through an embarrassing moment now envy me. "You look suddenly stressed." The Worst Of Prisons
TAYLOR'S POVI keep wondering if I would be better off dead than alive. Not that it will take long before I actually die, my body is at the edge of survival, about to fall to the other side but dearly hanging onto life with a thin thread. I have been in this dark room for . . . well, I can't tell because there is no way of knowing when it's day or night in here. I lost track of time a long time ago. Probably since the day I woke up and found myself in this dark prison. I have stayed for months, I just can't tell how many. My beating heart is the only thing that assures me that I am still a living thing. But that heartbeat has been slowly fading since I fell sick. I can't even tell when because it could be a month or weeks ago, like I said you can't tell when a day begins or ends in here. The pain kept getting worse, and so did the coughing. My whole body grew weak to a point that I couldn't stand on my own two legs.Being locked in here alone was devastating enough, but it's like fa

Beyond Formidable
TALIA'S POV"He didn't come here." The stupid luna repeats the same answer for the third time and I finally run out of patience. She is visibly trembling with fear yet she keeps on uttering lies. She blinks countless times, bites her lips and takes minutes to think over answers that she could just reply with a yes or no. She is another annoying vixen just like Evan's mother. No matter how much resolve you have people like her will always push your rage to its peak. Causing them pain seems to be the only way of forcing them to think like they have human brains. Her husband and beta stand metres away with a massive group of soldiers that the Luna was addressing before we walked in. They all watch us question her with terrified expressions, each too afraid to object to our actions. We got informed that her soldiers have been searching for my sister before we walked in here and interrupted her little meeting. No one dared stop us as I grabbed her by the collar and pulled her away from

You Must Leave Me
TALIA'S POVI wonder how grown-up men and women accept having such a ridiculous personality ruling over them. Her thoughts are awfully selfish. She wasn't willing to confess a thing when she thought her soldiers are capable of protecting her, didn't seem to care if her own husband or beta got hurt doing it, they seem to be expendable assets to her. Now she keeps her unwavering gaze on Evan and I get that he is the one she is most afraid of."Was he with the woman we are looking for?" He questions."Yes, she was on the carriage with him." She answers immediately."And you welcomed him?" I ask and she momentarily gazes at me."Only for a while. All he wanted was supplies. He didn't want to buy them at a random place where they could recognise him and call you."Neither her voice nor facial features bear any signs of lying. She also didn't take time to conjure up lies, so I believe her. "Where is he now?" Evan asks."I honestly don't know." She answers making us glare at her with scept

Apart Again

I don't doubt that Prince Miles will welcome me with open arms, but this is the last place I wanted to return. The inside will still be as magnificent as it was the last time I was here, abused slaves probably won't be the ones mopping floors or serving food and I won't have to deal with jealous servants. Yet would still prefer having my mate by my side.
