Chapter twelve

Two years later….

"Urgh!" I angrily stomped through the room, and sighting the vanity table I focused on it and poured out all my anger and frustrations on it.

With one clean swipe of my palm, I pushed everything to the floor taking in a bit of delight when I heard the crunch of glass bottles hitting the floor. As if that was not enough, I brought down the mirror and flung it on the ground, stomping passionately on it for good measure.

That temper tantrum didn't bring me half the satisfaction I was expecting, so I pounded my fists on the hardwood vanity table roaring out so loud I could feel the window panes shaking.

Suddenly, I felt so weak and tired so I slumped to the floor and circled my knees with my hands, and bent my head.

I didn't know I was crying until I let out a sniffle which quickly led to full-blown bawling.

I didn't cry for long though because my room door burst open, and I immediately raised my head thinking it was Ethan coming to apologize.
