The attack

With each passing second, the screams and growling sounds outside escalated, creating an even tenser atmosphere. I was alone in the room, my mind working at a frenetic speed as I tried to comprehend the situation I found myself in.

The minutes seemed to drag on, and the uncertainty of what was happening left me restless. My leg hurt, and I wished I could move freely to better understand the situation. Being stuck in an unfamiliar room while chaos unfolded outside was an unpleasant sensation.

Finally, after a period that felt like an eternity, Ivy returned to the room. Her face was troubled, and her hands trembled slightly. She closed the door behind her and sighed deeply before speaking.
