The promise

"You remember the promise, right?" Elijah asked one last time before tapping the switch of the calling bell of the Watson mansion. 

Sarah gritted her teeth after hearing him saying the same thing for the umpteenth time now. She has started getting frustrated. She turned around to glare at him. 

"Yes, yes, I remember! I will not lose my temper and snap at them. I will just sit there like a robot as they play with you as if you are a ragged doll. I will not try to talk to you till the time we are around my family and behave cold around you and them so that they don't find out about what's going on between us. You basically want me to act like a complete careless stranger just the moment we get inside the mansion or whenever we are surrounded by people. That is what you want, right?" She snapped at him harmlessly after not being able to hear his constant reminder of the stupid promise which she made an hour or so ago.  <
