A Moment of Love

The kids ate a mountain of food then ran around talking to almost everyone that came into the dining the hall. They were little social butterflies and felt completely comfortable in our pack.

Bolton sat beside me, hand in hand, even as we ate. Once the plates were cleared he pulled me from my chair and into his lap. I could feel his desperate need to feel my skin to his.
