CHAPTER 63

Tom dodged the throw and after a few seconds he winced in pain, he sucked in breath and closed his eyes.

He placed his right hand over his face where the glass went past, feeling a jelly like liquid in between his fingers.

Tom pulled his hand away from his face slowly, like he was being controlled. He looked at his hand, to see what that liquid was.

It was just his sweat, he sighed and closed his eyes, he thought he had gotten injured from Tiana throwing a glass at him.

Tiana's hands were shaking where she stood, the whole anger in her had evaporated at the thought of her injuring Tom with a broken glass.

“Tom, are you okay? I'm so sorry”

Tiana ran over to him, checking him from his head to his toe. She took his face in her hands, searching and turning his face in different directions.

He removed her hands from his face, and pushed it away. Tiana gasped, she wasn't expecting him to do that, she could see the fury in his eyes.
