CHAPTER 69

Jaden pulled her away from his body and she also hit her head on the couch. He got up immediately and was adjusting his shirt, also scratching his head.

Matilda rubbed her eyes, trying to get a clear vision as the sleep was still making her drowsy. She didn't understand what Jaden was trying to do.

“I was just trying to help out because you were dozing off on the couch”

Matilda still did not get it, but she nodded and sat still. Jaden went to the bed and drew out a big duvet, he proceeded to spread it on the bare floor.

“You can have the bed, I'll sleep on the floor”

Matilda got up and put her hands in front of her, waving it as she was shaking her head in disagreement.

“No sir, no. I…I can actually sleep on the couch while you can sleep on the bed”

Jaden is a very stubborn person, he hardly listened to anyone when he had made up his mind.

And the last thing he would want was to make Matilda uncomfortable. He couldn't let her sleep on the floor or even on the couch.

He took two pillow
