Tom took a long drag from his cigar and closed his eyes as he released the smoke into the air.

His room was filled with loud music, coming from his bluetooth speaker, and he was moving his head to the rhythm of the beat.

A call in through his phone, he put off the music and then picked up his phone. He closed his eyes and sighed when he saw who the caller was.

“What is it this time, Tiana?”

“What's with that irritating tone of yours?”

Tiana squinted her eyes and her face, like she had just seen the most disgusting thing in her life.

Tom ran his hands through his hair and took a drag from his cigar, and he dropped it on the ashtray.

“Just say what you want to say, Tiana”

She rolled her eyes and sat on her bed, crossed her legs and cleared her throat.

“I'm meeting with Matilda soon, so be prepared. This time, for real”

“I hope so”

“What do you mean by that?”
