Chapter 149

Lorena’s POV

I ended the call with Hazel and I sat outside the incubation room. I was nervous about her. I felt that I had left her alone.

I had been in Zoe’s room all day and the doctors even had to find a way to get me out earlier. I just wanted to be with her. I loved the way it seemed that she was able to understand everything that I said and she was just 2 months old.

I felt torn all of a sudden. I needed to be with Hazel, my mate and my friends, but I also wanted to be with my daughter.

As I sat, lost in thought, I felt a tap on my shoulder. I jerked in fright and turned around to see who it was.
