Hazel’s POV

We turned and we started to run back to the battlefield field. My eyes were brimming with tears each time I remembered Jasper’s sacrifice. It was too much to bare. How was I going to tell Cassie that her mate what was dead?

We both dashed through the forest and soon, we reached the battlefield and the sight that met us was awful. Half of our wolves had been slaughtered by Ragnar and the other monster. I fell silent as soon as I saw the carnage. There were dead bodies everywhere.
