“What are you doing here Ramona?.” I asked softly, trying to control myself from getting angry, I had figured out that this was exactly what she wanted me to do, flare up and express emotions.

“I already told you, Alpha Kayden.” She replied. I could hear the sarcasm in her voice. “I missed you, and I was getting worried.”

I sighed and rolled my eyes, using my fingers to part my hair which had now covered my face because of the cold wind. “It's none of your business.” I said firmly, and pushed her aside attempting to head inside.

“I can help you know, help you find her…Amelia I mean.” I stopped in my tracks, a small smile forming in my lips. I turned around and looked at her and chuckled. “You're funny Ramona.” I said to her, still smiling.

“You tried to convince me a few hours ago that she was dead and you are the only one for me." I was now sound sarcastic, matching her energy.
