Raine's POV

My husband takes my hand and smiles. "I have a lot of things I want to talk to you about. First, let’s discuss our vacation house. It’s more convenient for both of us," he suggests.

I nod and keep holding his hand as we walk along the shore. I am amazed by how beautiful their bungalow-style vacation house is! The design perfectly complements the beauty of this small island.

"How many hectares is this island?" I ask.

"I think it's 2.5 hectares. My parents bought it to celebrate my first birthday. It was a Tarzan-themed birthday," he explains.

I look at him and he points his finger at me. I try to stifle my laughter but fail. "I’m sorry. It’s just… cute. It also shows how much they love you and are prepared for your first year in this world," I whisper. I notice a hint of sadness in his eyes. I wonder if he has some sad memories that I wish to know.
