After talking to Cassius, I go back to the kitchen. To my surprise, everyone has left except Kane who is sitting on the table, staring at the wall blankly.
“ What’s wrong with you? ” I wonder out aloud.
Kane blinks his eyes, moving his gaze towards me. “ We left your brother and Cora in Vladania. ”
I shake my head. “ They are safe there. ”
“ Don’t you think we should have brought them with us?
